Joanne L. Butler is a partner in the law firm of Schenck Price Smith & King, LLP. Ms. Butler's law practice is primarily devoted to the areas of education and public employment law. She represents numerous boards of education as general or special counsel. In addition to providing her school district clients with counsel in the many components of school law and student, staff, and board operations issues, Ms. Butler represents her clients in litigation matters including, student residency, discipline, and special education hearings, staff tenure proceedings, employment discrimination matters, grievance arbitrations, unfair practice proceedings, and bid/contracting disputes. She regularly appears before the Department of Education, the Office of Administrative Law, the Public Employees Relations Commission, the Division on Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the various state and federal courts. Ms. Butler is a trustee of the New Jersey Association of School Attorneys and a member of the National Council of School Attorneys. Ms. Butler frequently lectures and provides in-service training on various education and employment issues. Chastity L. Christy is an attorney with Lazzaro Law Firm, LLC, where she represents individual employees and groups of employees in wage and hour cases, collective actions, and class actions, including claims brought pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Ms. Christy has dedicated her more than 20 years of practice to representing employees in various discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour cases. Raymond Hogge is a partner with Hogge Law, where he advises employers across Virginia in all aspects of labor and employment law, and represents them in employment-related litigation, mediation, and administrative proceedings. Mr. Hogge earned his B.A. degree from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. Christopher J. Keating is an attorney with Malamut & Associates LLC, where he focuses on plaintiff-side litigation in the areas of employment law, civil rights, False Claims Act and qui tam matters, and catastrophic injuries and wrongful death matters. He has litigated individual, class, and collective action wage-related matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has also served as defense counsel for small businesses in wage cases and government investigations in New Jersey. Mr. Keating is a former Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Criminal Justice, where he prosecuted cases involving wage theft, worker exploitation, and fraud against government entities. Brooke B. Nevels is an attorney with Webb Law Group, APC. She has been with the firm since 2013.
