Jeffery P. Drummond is a partner in the law firm of Jackson Walker L.L.P. He represents hospitals, physicians, laboratories and other health care providers in transactional and regulatory matters. He is a frequent speaker on HIPAA, medical record privacy and security issues, and cybersecurity issues in the health industry, and regularly advises clients regarding compliance with those laws and regulations. Since 2002, Mr. Drummond has written a weblog on HIPAA matters entitled "HIPAABlog." He is also a contributing editor to D Magazine's web publication "D Healthcare Daily," a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of HCCA's "Report on Patient Privacy," and was named a Best Lawyer in Dallas in the healthcare field in 2014 and 2018 - 2020 by D Magazine and a Best Lawyer in America in 2017 - 2022. Mr. Drummond is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and past chairman of the Dallas Bar Association's Health Law Section. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and is ranked in Band 3 for Healthcare in Texas with Chambers USA. He is an adjunct professor at the Center for Healthcare Leadership and Management in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he teaches graduate-level courses on health law and policy. Mr. Drummond earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Dallas and his J.D. degree from the University of Texas.
Brock L. Wimberley is an attorney with Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC. His practice focuses primarily on insurance coverage and defense, including bad faith and extra-contractual litigation, catastrophic/disaster claims and related mass litigation, ﬁrst and third-party property damage, and ﬁrst and third-party personal injury, ﬂood, and insurance fraud. Mr. Wimberley earned his Bachelor of Science in Management (B.S.M.) degree from Tulane University. He graduated cum laude from LSU Law School, earning his J.D. degree and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law (D.C.L.). Mr. Wimberley is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal courts.
