JONATHAN D. FARRELL is a partner and co-chair of Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP’s labor and employment law practice group and a member of the firm’s employee benefits and litigation groups. Mr. Farrell is counsel to manufacturing, service, commercial, and management companies; professional practices; non-profit organizations; private educational institutions; and insurance companies. He regularly practices before the National Labor Relations Board, federal and state courts, and federal and state human rights’ agencies. Mr. Farrell counsels employers on a variety of labor and employment-related laws, including the NLRA, OSHA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and ERISA. He also litigates in these areas. Mr. Farrell is admitted to practice before the federal and state courts of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He earned his J.D. degree from Hofstra University’s School of Law and his B.A. degree from Case Western Reserve University.
STEPHANIE H. FEDORKA is an attorney with Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, where she focuses her practice in labor and employment law matters, serving clients in both the public and private sector. Ms. Fedorka has experience in assisting clients with matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the New York Human Rights Law, among others. She also has experience in matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act and the Taylor Law. She also has experience with issues pertaining to New York and federal wage and hour laws and regulations. Ms. Fedorka is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, CNY Women's Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the William Herbert Johnson Bar Association. Ms. Fedorka earned her B.A. degree from the University of Rochester, her M.P.A. degree from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and her J.D. degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
NICHOLAS P. JACOBSON is an attorney with Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, where he defends employers in employment discrimination and retaliation matters before the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. Mr. Jacobson also counsels employers on workplace issues such as discrimination and harassment complaints, drafting employment and separation agreements, and compliance with state and federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and OSHA regulations. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Jacobson received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law.
MICHAEL A. MIRANDA is a partner with the New York law firm of Miranda Slone Sklarin Verveniotis LLP. He has extensively litigated insurance coverage disputes and has prevailed in the state court of appeals three times on coverage defenses for insurers. Mr. Miranda also litigates on municipal liability and employment discrimination cases. He leads the firm's employment practices counseling group and serves as outside counsel to a number of private companies to deal with their everyday employment issues. Mr. Miranda has often defended private and public employers in disputes ranging from sexual harassment to racial discrimination. He also has experience in defending wage, overtime, uniform, and spread of hours claims pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. Mr. Miranda is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the relevant federal courts for these jurisdictions. He earned his J.D. degree from New York Law School.
