SCOTT M. BEHREN is the principal attorney in the Behren Law Firm in Weston. Mr. Behren practices in the areas of commercial litigation and employment law throughout the state of Florida. He has written articles for local publications, and has spoken on employment law issues for both the National Employment Lawyers Annual Convention and conferences of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Muhlenberg College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami, College of Law. Mr. Behren is a member of The Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Florida Chapter of National Employment Lawyers Association.
ROBERT E. BLUMBERG is an attorney with Deutsch, Blumberg, & Caballero P.A., where he practices personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability law. Mr. Blumberg is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar (Rules of Judicial Administration Committee and Technology Committee), American Bar Association (Forum on Construction Young Lawyers Division) and the Dade County Bar Association (co-chair of the Lawyer Referral Service Committee). Mr. Blumberg earned his B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. degree from the William and Mary School of Law.
PATRICIA A. LEONARD is a partner in the West Palm Beach office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the business litigation practice group. She has a diverse business and commercial litigation practice, representing businesses in their contractual disputes, including non-compete and other employment contracts, employment discrimination defense, partnership and corporate disputes, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical litigation matters, food and supplement labeling litigation, and trade secret litigation. Ms. Leonard earned her B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Miami School of Law.
ANTHONY R. YANEZ is an attorney with Blank Rome LLP, where he concentrates his practice on consumer finance and commercial litigation matters. He has experience with commercial disputes, enforcement of commercial loan documents, consumer financial services, catastrophic personal injury and premises liability actions, probate litigation, and all aspects of civil litigation. As a member of the consumer financial services team, Mr. Yanez also regularly represents lenders and financial institutions in a variety of consumer finance litigation matters in federal and state court, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims. He is admitted to practice in Florida; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida; and United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Yanez earned his B.B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.
