WILLIAM W. BOWER is a partner in the law firm of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, where he represents management during high-profile labor negotiations, union campaigns, and binding interest arbitration matters. Mr. Bowser defends employers in breach of contract, employment discrimination, civil rights, harassment, and wrongful termination lawsuits in both state and appellant courts. He also represents employers in administrative proceedings before the NLRB, the Delaware PERB, the EEOC, the Delaware Department of Labor, and other government agencies. Mr. Bowser was selected by The Best Lawyers in AmericaÂ© as the 2018 Lawyer of the Year for Management Employment Law. He also was named Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year in 2016 and as Management Labor Lawyer of the Year in 2012. MATTHEW F. BOYER, co-chair of the labor and employment group at Connolly Gallagher LLP, provides legal counsel and litigation services on a broad range of employment law issues. His practice includes compliance counseling, employment discrimination litigation, drafting and enforcement of employment agreements and restrictive covenants, internal investigations, and employment-related mediations. He also represents attorneys, physicians, and other professionals in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings. In addition, Mr. Boyer serves as co-chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Professional Ethics Committee and since 2008 has served as a special discovery master by appointment of the Delaware Superior Court. LAUREN P. DELUCA is an attorney with Connolly Gallagher LLP, where she practices with the labor & employment law and government law teams, representing both public and private sector employers and employees. She represents businesses, non-profit corporations, government entities, as well as individuals in their employment-related and other matters before administrative agencies, federal court, and the Delaware state courts. In addition to employment law, Ms. DeLuca assists in general litigation and expedited Court of Chancery litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Delaware State Bar Association, for which she serves as the secretary of the Labor & Employment Law Section. Ms. DeLuca is admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, as well as before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. RALPH R. SMITH III is a shareholder and co-chair of the labor & employment group of Capehart & Scatchard, P.A. Mr. Smith focuses his practice in employment litigation and preventative employment practices, including counseling employers on the creation of employment policies, non-compete and trade secret agreements, and training employers to avoid employment-related litigation. He represents both companies and individuals in related complex commercial litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in labor and employment cases including race, gender, age, national origin, disability and workplace harassment and discrimination matters; wage and hour disputes; restrictive covenants; grievances; arbitrations; drug testing; and employment-related contract issues.
