CYNTHIA E. EVERSON is an attorney at Everson Law Firm, PLLC, where she provides private representation for federal and state criminal and civil matters, with an emphasis on indigent representation. She has defended people accused of gun crimes in both state and federal court, and has litigated issues related to the right to possess (and carry) firearms, as well as property issues related to retrieving firearms that were seized by law enforcement. Ms. Everson is an adjunct writing instructor at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Concord, NC, and have been teaching there for two years. She earned her B.A. degree from Gardner Webb University; her M.A. degree from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Charlotte School of Law.

DEVON SENGES is a bilingual attorney with Dummit Fradin where her practice primarily focuses on complex immigration matters. Ms. Senges has extensive experience in family petitions, humanitarian relief, deportation defense, Social Security Disability appeals, and civil litigation law. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina. Ms. Senges is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina and J.D. degree from Elon University School of Law.
RONALD J. SHOOK is the founder/partner of The Law Offices of Ronald J. Shook, where he practices criminal defense, immigration, and firearms law. BETTY F. TOUSSAINT is the owner of Toussaint Law, PLLC. Ms. Toussaint is a passionate litigator with a strong knowledge in criminal defense, family law, and education law. Ms. Toussaint advocates for children and youth with special needs in both the school system and the juvenile justice system. As a criminal defense lawyer, she defends individuals accused of felonies, misdemeanors, and youth involved in the juvenile criminal justice system. In addition, Ms. Toussaint represents unwed fathers in custody, paternity, and child support matters, and protected the rights and property of her clients that were going through the difficult journey of divorce. She is a former educator and school administrator and has served as a guardian ad litem in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Toussaint is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar. Ms. Toussaint earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida and J.D. degree from the University of Florida Fredric Levin College of Law. She has also earned a master’s degree in youth ministry, which has served her clients and their families well.
