How does the 'PDF Reference Manual Download' format compare to the other manual product formats you offer?
The downloadable manual product is simply an electronic version of the manual in a PDF file format that can be purchased for immediate delivery via email. There is no waiting for your shipment to arrive and no shipping fees to pay. The content itself is the same as the print and CD-ROM versions.
How do I know if a specific manual title is available in the PDF format for download?
A PDF product icon will be listed on the search results and product details pages for each title that is available for download.
How and when do I receive access to download the PDF product I've purchased?
Immediately after you submit your order for a downloadable manual product an order confirmation screen will be displayed, which will include a link to download your PDF product. In addition, this link will be sent to the email address provided on the order form. The email will arrive shortly after you submit your order. We suggest that you click on the link to download the PDF and save it to your computer at your earliest convenience as it is only available for a limited time. Please note: Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com , must be installed on your computer before downloading the PDF product.
Where do I indicate the PDF product recipient's email address?
Please indicate your email address in the "email address" field located on the order form.
What if I don't receive the PDF reference manual product email?

Are there technical requirements for download and use of a PDF manual?
The only requirements are that you have an email address and Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer (install free download at Adobe.com). More information about Adobe Acrobat Reader can be found on the Adobe website.
I received an error message stating that my downloaded product link has expired. What do I do?
The download link itself expires after 60 days and/or 15 downloads, which is why we recommend that you save your copy to your computer for unlimited future reference. If you did not save a copy of the PDF manual that you purchased and the link has expired, please contact Customer Service to reinstate your access.
Am I able to search the PDF manual product?
Yes. Select ‘Search' from your ‘Edit' menu options.
Can I print the PDF manual product?
Yes. Select ‘Print' from your ‘File' menu options.
How do I save a copy of the PDF manual that I purchased to my computer for future reference?
If you don't have the file downloaded and open on your computer, when prompted select ‘save to disk' instead of the ‘download' option and save the file to the desired location on your computer. If you already have the PDF file open, simply select ‘Save As' from the ‘File' menu to save your copy for unlimited future access to the file.
How long will it take to download a PDF manual?
The PDF file document download is ‘streamed' for technical efficiency and speed during the download. Variables such as your computer system and the size of the document being downloaded make it difficult to estimate how long the download will take. A good way to monitor download progress is to watch the status bar.
Can I modify and save changes to my copy of the PDF file?
No, the file is protected as a read-only file.

Yes! Shipping fees only apply to product shipments for print manuals and manuals on CD-ROM.
