PAUL S. DETCH is a sole practitioner concentrating in the areas of civil and criminal litigation. He is a former adjunct professor at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and has lectured on criminal law. Mr. Detch earned his B.A. degree from Wittenberg University and his J.D. degree from West Virginia University. He is a member of the Greenbrier County, West Virginia State and West Virginia bar associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. DAVID O. SCHLES is an attorney in Charleston, West Virginia, where he practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense and trials, and appeals in state and federal courts. He has served as an instructor at various legal seminars and at the West Virginia State Police Academy. Mr. Schles graduated, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University with a B.A. degree in political science and history. He studied law at the West Virginia University College of Law, where he served as managing editor of the West Virginia Law Review, president of the Lugar Trial Association and was elected to the Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers. Mr. Schles is a member of the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
