MADONNA C. ESTEP is a partner in the Law Offices of Druckman and Estep, where she practices in the areas of civil litigation and medical malpractice. She is a frequent lecturer on medical malpractice, personal injury and trial practice. Ms. Estep earned her A.B. degree from Morehead State University and her J.D. degree from Washington & Lee University. She is a member of the West Virginia State Bar and the West Virginia State Trial Lawyers Association. ANDREA J. HINERMAN is an attorney for the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for the West Virginia State Bar, where she practices in the areas of investigations of allegations of violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct. For the last four years, Ms. Hinerman has taught numerous continuing legal education seminars for the West Virginia State Bar, the West Virginia Continuing Legal Education and several local bar associations. She mainly has spoken on attorney ethical obligations under the Rules of Professional Conduct. Ms. Hinerman earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from West Virginia University. She is a member of the American Inns of Court and the American Bar Association. L. JILL McINTYRE is a member in the Charleston, West Virginia, office of Jackson Kelly PLLC, where she focuses her litigation practice in the area of legal professional responsibility, with particular emphasis on attorney malpractice defense and on features of the attorney-client relationship (conflicts of interest, multiple representations, attorney-client privilege and attorney work product). Ms. McIntyre keeps up with developments in electronic discovery law and technologies, advising colleagues and clients about legal duties and best practices in this emerging area. She is versed in, and has significant experience with, West Virginia's mass litigation procedures. A member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV) Board of Governors, Ms. McIntyre spoke at the organization's 25th annual meeting on "Avoiding an Implied Attorney-Client Relationship." More recently, Ms. McIntyre presented at the WVCLE litigation 2008 seminar on "Limiting the Scope of the Attorney-Client Relationship: From 'No Means No' to 'Let's Just Be Friends.'" She co-wrote "To Mass or Not to Mass? That is the Question...," (a paper on mass litigation in West Virginia) for the 2006 Mountaineer CLE series and "Insurance Guidelines and the Inherent Difficulties in Representing the Insured While Working for and with the Insurance Company" for the firm's 2006 general counsel summit. Ms. McIntyre received her J.D. degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. She serves on the firm's technology and website committees.
