May 2 - Martinsburg TASHA KELLER CATROW is a resident attorney in the Martinsburg law firm of Crawford & Keller PLLC, where her areas of practice consist of real estate law, business law, contract law and wills and estates. She received her B.S. degree from West Virginia University and her J.D. degree from West Virginia University College of Law. She is admitted to practice in West Virginia. Ms. Catrow is a licensed real estate broker and is a member of the West Virginia Homebuilders Association and Eastern Panhandle Board of Realtors. JAMES B. CRAWFORD III is a managing member in the Charles Town law firm of Crawford & Keller PLLC, where his areas of practice consist of real estate law, business law, contract law and wills and probates. Mr. Crawford received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Washington and Lee University of Law. He is a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association, the West Virginia Real Estate Lawyers Association and the Tri-County Board of Realtors. May 3 - Charleston ROBERT N. FILE is a partner with the Beckley law firm of FILE PAYNE SCHERER & FILE PLLC, where he practices in real estate law, estates, general litigation and insurance defense. He is an agent for First American Title Insurance Company. Mr. File earned his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree from West Virginia University College of Law. He has spoken to professional groups on real estate titles. Mr. File is a member of the Raleigh County and American bar associations, The West Virginia State Bar, the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and the West Virginia Real Estate Lawyers Section of The West Virginia Bar Association. He is also Chancellor of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. SHERRI D. GOODMAN is a staff attorney with the West Virginia Department of Education. She also consults with attorneys on legal ethics and professional responsibility; she represents them with respect to ethics complaints. Ms. Goodman also consults with non-lawyers on issues of unauthorized practice of law. She earned her B.A. degree from Brandeis University and her J.D. degree from the University of Michigan. Ms. Goodman served as Chief Lawyer Disciplinary Counsel in West Virginia for nine years and General Counsel for the West Virginia Ethics Commission for two years. She has made presentations about legal ethics to lawyers and legal assistants throughout West Virginia and nationally via teleconferencing. Ms. Goodman has been admitted to practice in West Virginia since 1983 and is a member of the Association for Professional Responsibility Lawyers, where she serves on its Board and presents topics at its conferences. STEPHEN C. GREGORY is an attorney with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, in Charleston, West Virginia. Previously, he had been vice president, West Virginia district manager, associate senior underwriter, and West Virginia and Virginia state counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company in its Fairfax, Virginia, and Charleston, West Virginia offices. Mr. Gregory is a licensed title insurance agent in both states. He was previously in private practice in Northern Virginia, and litigated and appeared as an expert witness in numerous real estate cases. He is a member of the Virginia, West Virginia, Federal and Bankruptcy bars, and has served the Fairfax Bar Association on several committees, including a year as chair of the General District Court Committee. He is presently an area representative for the Real Property section of the Virginia State Bar, and serves as co-editor of its publication, The Fee Simple. Mr. Gregory earned his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree, with honors, from George Mason University School of Law.
