CHRISTOPHER L. BRINKLEY is an attorney at The Masters Law Firm, L.C., where he practices in the areas of product liability and personal injury litigation, as well as enforcement of foreign judgments and consumer class actions. The majority of Mr. Brinkley's practice involves representing victims of automotive defects. BROOKS is a member of the law firm of Flaherty Sensabaugh & Bonasso PLLC, where his areas of practice include medical negligence defense litigation, commercial litigation, education law and litigation, and general corporate law. Mr. Brooks was a speaker and panelist at West Virginia Evidence Workshop, sponsored by Professional Education Systems; a speaker at Physician Loss Prevention Seminars, sponsored by Medical Assurance; a speaker at Peri-Anesthesia Care Nursing: An Issues Forum III and IV, presented by West Virginia University Hospitals; and is a frequent guest lecturer, speaker, and panelist at various classes for undergraduate and graduate students at both West Virginia University and Fairmont State College. KIME is an attorney with Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love LLP, where he practices in the area of litigation. Mr. Kime earned his B.S. degree from Alderson-Broaddus College and his J.D. degree from West Virginia University College of Law, where he was a legal research and writing teaching assistant. NATALIE C. SCHAEFER is an attorney with Shuman, McCuskey & Slicer PLLC, where her practice has focused primarily on defense litigation, including catastrophic loss and wrongful death, as well as the defense of national manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of consumer products involved in construction, mining and industrial accidents. Ms. Schaefer has defended energy clients in accident investigation and litigation, as well as defense of companies in suit under the worker's compensation immunity exception "deliberate intention" exception, among others. She also has defended liability claims involving civil rights, public entities and government agencies. Ms. Schaefer's published works include, "The Unusual Suspects: Unlikely Players in the Product Liability Arena," Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and "Administrative Preclusion: Litigation Ammunition?" Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. She is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, the Defense Research Institute (Product Liability, Insurance Law and Trial Tactics committees) and The West Virginia Bar Association. Ms. Schaefer earned her B.A. degree from West Virginia University and her J.D. degree from West Virginia University College of Law. DAVID O. SCHLES is an attorney in Charleston, West Virginia, where he practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense and trials, and appeals in state and federal courts. He has served as an instructor at various legal seminars and at the West Virginia State Police Academy. Mr. Schles is a member of the American Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He graduated, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University with a B.A. degree.
