CHERYL P. BARATY is a partner with the Milwaukee law firm of Baraty & Polansky, LLP, where she is a general practitioner focusing on landlord-tenant law, real estate, family law, personal injury, probate and Chapter 128. She earned her B.A. degree, in biology and health studies, from Brandeis University, her M.H.S. degree, in public health, from The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health and her J.D. degree from The Washington College of Law, The American University. Ms. Baraty has lectured on her areas of practice to various professional groups. She is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, the State Bar of Wisconsin (member, Family Law, Real Estate and Collaborative Law sections) and the Wisconsin Collaborative Family Law Bar. Ms. Baraty is on the board of the Landlord Information Service of Apartment Association of Southeastern Wisconsin where she is also a business member. PATRICIA L. GROVE is a shareholder with the Milwaukee firm of Halling & Cayo, S.C., where she concentrates her practice in family law. Ms. Grove is a former law clerk to the Wisconsin Supreme Court and is a frequent lecturer on family law topics. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, her M.S.W. degree from Washington University and her J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa. Ms. Grove is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin (Family Law Section), the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Society of Family Attorneys and the Collaborative Family Law Bar. DAVID B. KARP is a shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm of Karp Law Offices, S.C., where he practices exclusively in the area of family law. Mr. Karp is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of Justice, The American Association for Justice, the Society of Family Lawyers, the Matrimonial Chapter of the American Inns of Court, The Wisconsin Chapter of the Justinian Society of Lawyers and the Waukesha County, Ozaukee County and Milwaukee County bar associations. He is also a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Karp earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. degree from Marquette University. DR. ITZHAK MATUSIAK is a licensed psychologist, president and director of clinical services at Comprehensive Clinical and Consulting Services, Inc., a state certified outpatient mental health and drug and alcohol treatment facility, in Milwaukee. His private practice includes psychodiagnosis and psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults; family and group counseling; business management consulting; forensic psychology; and pain management. Dr. Matusiak has extensive experience working with children and families and has served as a court appointed expert in hundreds of cases on various matters, including the best interests of children, guardianship, and competency; as well as by retainer in cases such as workers compensation evaluation, personal injury, medical malpractice and more. His nearly 40-year career in psychology also includes work as a school psychologist for the Milwaukee public school system and as a consulting psychologist for a private adoption service. Dr. Matusiak currently serves as director of psychological services at Advanced Pain Management, one of the largest interventional pain management organizations in the country. He is a licensed Wisconsin State Board psychologist, and holds a lifetime certification as a school psychologist in the state of Wisconsin. Dr. Matusiak earned his B.A. and M.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Ph.D. from Marquette University. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Wisconsin Psychological Association and AAPB (Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback).
