THOMAS C. DILL is an attorney with Blommer Peterman, S.C. He has past experience in real estate law as a practitioner and as corporate counsel for title companies. Ms. Flannery earned her B.A. degree in English Literature from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, and her J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, as well as District Courts in Indiana and Illinois. MISKE is an attorney in the Milwaukee office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of condominium law, civil litigation, collections and business law. Within these areas of practice he handles trials, foreclosures and appeals for businesses, condominium associations, insurance companies and individuals in a variety of matters including contract disputes, liens, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, unfair trade practices and insurance defense. Mr. Miske is a regular speaker and has written on various condominium and collection related topics. (Milwaukee location) BRIANE F. PAGEL JR. is a lawyer with Krekeler Strother, S.C., where he has been practicing family and consumer law since 2000. Prior to that, he ran his own practice focusing on family, criminal, and general litigation. He graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and has an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mr. Pagel writes consumer law case updates, has published articles in Wisconsin Lawyer on creditor/debtor and consumer issues, and has spoken to lawyers' groups and presented seminars on topics ranging from the doctrine of necessaries to enforcement of Wisconsin's mortgage broker and consumer laws. Recently, he was asked to help train mediators for foreclosure mediation in Iowa County, Wisconsin. (Madison location) DAVID P. RUETZ is the senior environmental scientist at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. Mr. Ruetz has more than 20 years of environmental experience in a variety of fields, including work as an environmental attorney, the president of an environmental consulting-engineering firm, an administrative director of a governor-appointed advisory council, an environmental scientist and as an aquatic biologist. As an attorney, he has represented corporate, commercial and industrial clients regarding environmental due diligence and risk assessment in mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Mr. Ruetz also has represented commercial, industrial, health care and banking clients in matters involving Superfund (CERCLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA hazardous waste), medical waste, wetlands and water law. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Superfund litigation, negotiation, and regulatory review. Mr. Ruetz also has represented industrial, commercial and banking clients in environmental matters involving the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), and the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). He has been involved in litigation and has presented oral arguments in cases held in both state and U.S. federal district courts. Mr. Ruetz earned his A.A.S. degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College, his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, his J.D. degree from the University of Montana School of Law and his M.S. degree from the University of Montana. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, and Washington State and Milwaukee (chairman, Environmental Law Section) bar associations.
