JENNIFER E. ANNEN is a partner at the law firm of Annen Roetter, LLC (www.annenroetter.com). She is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA). She has also been recognized as a "Rising Star" in the field of elder law in a statewide review. Ms. Annen is 1999 cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. She currently co-teaches the elder law course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. She also serves as a board member for the Colonial Club, Senior Activity Center in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Ms. Annen currently serves as a board member of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Elder Law Section. Her law practice includes estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, guardianships, probate and trust administration and real estate. VICKI J. BUCHHOLZ, MS, is a Medigap insurance counselor for the Board on Aging and Long Term Care's Medigap Helpline, a Wisconsin SHIP program. Ms. Buchholz has been a Medigap counselor for approximately eight years. Prior to her present position, she was an outreach/benefit specialist in the aging programs at the county level for eight years. In her capacity as a Medigap counselor, Ms. Buchholz provides counseling not only with Medicare and related insurance options, but she also provides guidance to persons who are looking for insurance on long term care options and ways to cover the costs of that care. She assists consumers in understanding how a long term care policy could provide some financial assistance toward long term care services, given the benefits selected in the LTC policy. Ms. Buchholz earned her M.S. degree in community human services from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. MARGARET W. HICKEY is a shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm of Becker Hickey & Poster, S.C., where she concentrates her practice in the areas of divorce, family law, guardianship and elder law, including Title 19 divestment. Ms. Hickey is a director and past chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin Family Law Section Board of Directors and is past chair of the Board of Directors of the Elder Law Section. Ms. Hickey is a member of the American and Milwaukee (past president, Board of Directors) bar associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Association for Women Lawyers and is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She received her B.A. degree from Marquette University and her J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. HEATHER A. WILSON is an attorney with Hill, Glowacki, Jaeger & Hughes, LLP, practicing in the areas of estate planning (including special needs trusts), estate and trust administration, guardianship and elder law. She graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Her academic background includes a bachelor of arts degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's of library and information science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Wilson is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Dane County Bar Association, the Legal Association for Women and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Wilson has taught seminars and given presentations about elder law and estate planning. She has volunteered with Wills for Heroes, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and the Wisconsin Guardianship Support Center.
