MICHAEL P. CARLTON is a shareholder and heads the environmental law and litigation section at the Milwaukee law firm of von Briesen & Roper, S.C. He has lectured regarding environmental law in Washington, D.C., the University of Wisconsin Law School, the Imperial College in London, England and at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Mr. Carlton has been selected for Who's Who in American Law and has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine. He is a member of the American Bar Association (member, Environmental, Energy and Resources Section), the State Bar of Wisconsin and is past co-chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association's Environmental Law Section. Mr. Carlton earned his B.S. degree from Marquette University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. BRAD L.F. HOESCHEN is an attorney at Chernov, Stern & Krings, S.C., where he practices in the areas of real estate litigation and transactional practice. His litigation practice includes trial work and appeals. Mr. Hoeschen also concentrates on the purchase and sale of residential, commercial, industrial and developmental property, real estate brokerage law and prevention of broker liability, boundary and adjoining landowner disputes. He has argued in front of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin (Real Estate and Sports, Entertainment Practice groups). Mr. Hoeschen earned his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School and his B.L.S. degree from Loyola University - New Orleans. While in law school, he served as an associate justice for Marquette Moot Court. Mr. Hoeschen had a successful career as a print and broadcast journalist both in Milwaukee and New Orleans, where he specialized in reporting on banking, finance, insurance and real estate. BENJAMIN P. PAYNE is a partner in the Milwaukee law firm of Hanson & Payne, LLC, where he practices primarily on creditor work, including collections, banking law and preference defense. He also has spoken for the State Bar of Wisconsin and National Business Institute. Mr. Payne has lectured to the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bankruptcy Court and the Waukesha County Bar Association on bankruptcy. He is a member of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditors' Rights sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a case editor for the section. Mr. Payne is admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin, and before the bankruptcy courts for the Eastern and Western districts of Wisconsin, and the Northeastern District of Illinois. Mr. Payne has been admitted pro hac vice to bankruptcy courts around the country representing clients in preference defense cases. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. LISA A. PETERSEN is underwriting counsel and back up state counsel for the Fidelity National Title Group, which includes Chicago Title Insurance Company, Security Union Title Insurance Company, Ticor Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Lawyer's Title Insurance Corporation and Commonwealth Land Title Company. Her responsibilities include statewide underwriting for all companies. Ms. Petersen is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. She also is a member of the Wisconsin Land Title Association, where she is an active member of the Education and Legislative Committees. Ms. Petersen is a past president of the Wisconsin Land Title Association and has served on its Board of Directors for 7 years. She is a frequent lecturer on title issues across the state. Ms. Petersen earned her B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. degree from Northern Illinois University. DUANE H. WUNSCH is vice president and Wisconsin State Counsel for Fidelity National Title Group. He has more than 30 years of experience including searching and examining titles, closing transactions and handling title insurance claims. Mr. Wunsch is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Wisconsin Land Title Association. He earned his B.A degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and J.D. degree from Emory University.
