KELLY L. CENTOFANTI is the managing partner of Centofanti Law, S.C. Her practice focuses on personal injury litigation on the plaintiff's side. Ms. Centofanti handles cases involving medical, legal and other professional negligence; malpractice; nursing home neglect and abuse; insurance bad faith; motor vehicle and boating accidents; and premises liability. She has lectured at numerous seminars, CLE programs, and at Marquette University and University of Wisconsin Law School classes. In addition, she has served on the faculty of six National College of Advocacy Trial Skills Colleges (essentials, Houston; medical malpractice, Safety Harbor; depositions, Atlanta; direct and cross-examination, Phoenix and Knoxville; advanced depositions, Denver). Ms. Centofanti has spoken at two American Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) National Conventions, and was a speaker at the 2002 ATLA "Weekend of the Stars" in New York City. She addressed a national audience of trial lawyers on the topic of medical malpractice at a special ATLA symposium in Washington, D.C., in June 2004; and national audiences at two-day seminars on successfully handling nursing home cases, one in Las Vegas in September 2004 and the other in Albuquerque in September 2005. Ms. Centofanti also spoke on the importance of focus groups at a NJ-AAJ seminar in Atlantic City in April 2007. She edits a chapter in the State Bar book, The Law of Damages in Wisconsin, and has appeared on the State Bar's Law Talk cable show, both as a guest and host. Ms. Centofanti has served as chair of numerous state bar committees and has been involved in many other committees and boards. She has served as president of the Milwaukee Bar Association, secretary of the State Bar of Wisconsin, president of the Association for Women Lawyers, and chair of the MBA Litigation, Civil Bench/Bar and Judicial Selection committees. Ms. Centofanti was recently named one of the Top Twenty Women in the Law for 2005 by the Wisconsin Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and graduated, magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School. J. MICHAEL END is a partner in the Milwaukee law firm of End, Hierseman & Crain, LLC. He is an attorney with 34 years of experience representing plaintiffs in tort actions, with an emphasis in medical malpractice and personal injury law. Mr. End received his B.A. degree from Marquette University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School, where he was a Thomas More Scholar. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), the State Bar of Wisconsin (Litigation Section), the Milwaukee Bar Association (Litigation Section), The American Association for Justice (Professional Negligence Section), the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers (board member since 1984; treasurer, 2007) and the Wisconsin chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (secretary/treasurer, 1999; vice president, 2000; president 2001). Mr. End was selected as the 2000 Robert L. Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. In 2003, he was selected as one of ”Milwaukee's Top Lawyers” in the field of personal injury by Milwaukee Magazine. Mr. End is a frequent lecturer in the areas of medical malpractice law and trial practice. SEAN M. GAYNOR is an attorney at Leib & Katt LLC, where he specializes in medical malpractice, health law, general injury/liability, products liability and construction litigation. Mr. Gaynor was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin in 2001. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. His memberships include the State Bar of Wisconsin, Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin, Defense Research Institute and Ancient Order of Hibernians. TODD M. WEIR is a shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm of Otjen, Van Ert & Weir, S.C. His areas of practice include defense of complex medical malpractice and drug product cases. He is also involved in health care and professional liability related cases. Mr. Weir has been selected by his peers to be included in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 editions of The Best Lawyers in America. He has been recognized as a “Wisconsin Super Lawyer” since 2005. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, he was recognized as one of the top 50 attorneys in the state of Wisconsin by Milwaukee Magazine. Mr. Weir is a member of the Ohio State and American bar associations, State Bar of Wisconsin, Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin and American Board of Trial Advocates.
