MICHAEL P. CARLTON is a shareholder and heads the environmental law and litigation section at the Milwaukee law firm of von Briesen & Roper, S.C. He has lectured regarding environmental law in Washington, D.C., the University of Wisconsin Law School, the Imperial College in London, England and at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Mr. Carlton has been selected for Who's Who in American Law and has been named a Super Lawyer by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine. He is a member of the American Bar Association (member, Environmental, Energy and Resources Section), the State Bar of Wisconsin and is past co-chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association's Environmental Law Section. Mr. Carlton earned his B.S. degree from Marquette University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. MARK HAZELBAKER is the founder and owner of the Madison firm of Hazelbaker & Associates, where his practice is devoted to labor and employment, municipal law, land use law and real estate law. Mr. Hazelbaker began his career as legal counsel of the Wisconsin Counties Association. He served as personnel director/corporation counsel, and later as administrative coordinator for Manitowoc county. Mr. Hazelbaker's work in Manitowoc county led to the Center for Public Representation, awarding him its "Outstanding Local Government Employee" award in 1989. He has been in private practice since 1992, first with downtown Madison law firms and then in his own firm since 1999. Mr. Hazelbaker has lectured many times on labor and employment law, land use law and municipal law for various business and professional groups, and published law reviews and other articles. He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin (Litigation and Labor and Employment and Government Lawyers Division sections). Mr. Hazelbaker earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. RUSSELL KNETZGER, AICP, of Shorewood in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, is a city and town plan consultant with 50 years experience. His clients have ranged from municipalities where long term advice was provided over many decades to private and institutional project clients with market analysis, municipal impact analysis and land planning services. Mr. Knetzger is an expert in boundary matters such as incorporations, annexations and boundary agreements. He wrote a model zoning ordinance and a model subdivision ordinance available at www.wisconsinplanners.org of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Planning Association. MITCHELL R. OLSON is a partner with the Madison law firm of Axley Brynelson, LLP. He is a member of the firm's litigation practice group. Mr. Olson concentrates his practice in civil litigation, real estate, land use and zoning, municipal, insurance, and appellate law. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts of Wisconsin. Mr. Olson earned his law degree from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and his master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. BRIAN C. SAJDAK is an attorney with the law firm of Wesolowski, Reidenbach & Sajdak, S.C., where he practices in the areas of litigation, real estate, condemnation, tax assessment, municipal, and zoning and land use matters. He acts as municipal council to the city of Franklin and the village of Hales Corners. Mr. Sajdak is a member of the Waukesha Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
