DENNIS P. COFFEY is a member of Mawicke & Goisman, S.C., where he concentrates his practice on the defense of criminal action, as well as complex civil actions in state and federal trial and appellate courts. He has been named as one of Milwaukee's outstanding criminal defense attorneys by Milwaukee Magazine based upon surveys of local lawyers and judges. Mr. Coffey has represented corporate entities, executives and individuals in a broad range of matters including health care fraud, securities, forfeiture, licensing and environmental matters. He has tried in excess of 300 jury trials during his career. Mr. Coffey has spoken on a variety of criminal law related subjects at conferences and seminars. He is a past president of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers and a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Coffey is a member of the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association serving as a member of its Corrections, Sentencing and Guideline Committee. He previously served on and was chairperson of the section's Ad Hoc Committee on ethics and discipline, and also is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Coffey earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. EUGENE A. GASIORKIEWICZ is a shareholder in Hanson & Gasiorkiewicz, S.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury and product liability. He is a certified civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Gasiorkiewicz is admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin and The Mississippi Bar, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He earned his A.B. degree from Regis College and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Gasiorkiewicz was appointed by the Chief Justice to serve as a referee and was appointed by the State Supreme Court to oversee disciplinary hearings for the Office of Lawyers Regulation. He was named a "Wisconsin Super Lawyer" in 2005 and 2006, and is a member of the American College of Barristers, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Arbitrators Association and the American Association for Justice. JOHN E. MACHULAK is a shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm of Machulak, Robertson & Sodos, S.C. He has been certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Machulak practices in the areas of general, construction and civil litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Machulak is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American and Milwaukee County bar associations, and the American Association for Justice.
