RICHARD A CHECK is the majority shareholder of the Bankruptcy Law Office of Richard A. Check, S.C., where bankruptcy law is the sole focus of his practice. NATHAN DeLADURANTEY is the founder and principal of DeLadurantey Law Office, LLC, in Milwaukee, where he focuses his practice exclusively on Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy, debtor's rights, and foreclosure defense. He regularly uses bankruptcy and consumer protection laws to recover damages for victims of creditor abuse, predatory lending, stay and discharge violations, and more. Mr. DeLadurantey's firm has a reputation for holding creditors accountable to the law. He earned his J.D. degree from Oak Brook College of Law. Mr. DeLadurantey is admitted to practice law in both Wisconsin and California, in addition to being admitted to the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She earned her J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School and practices in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Ms. George recently concluded the first ever Federal Court Health Care receivership in the Eastern District of Wisconsin in which she was appointed and served as operating receiver for over three years for a receivership involving a $33 million dollar skilled nursing. HERZOG is an attorney with the Wisconsin-based law firm of Godfrey & Kahn S.C., where she works with the firm's corporate group as a member of the business finance and restructuring team. Prior to joining the firm, she served as law clerk to the Honorable James E. Shapiro, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Ms. Herzog works with clients in all capacities of insolvency disputes, including representations of debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors and asset purchasers in the context of bankruptcies, receiverships, and general liquidation and restructuring proceedings. In these capacities, she has appeared in bankruptcy courts throughout the U.S., including courts in Wisconsin and Illinois, where she is licensed to practice, as well as New York and Delaware, where she has been admitted pro hac vice. Ms. Herzog also does a variety of commercial code work with clients to help determine the best means of protecting their assets and investments when engaging in commercial transactions. CARRIE R. MICHELSON is in private practice where she specializes in consumer bankruptcy since 2007. She earned her J.D. degree from Marquette Law School. Ms. Michelson is secretary of the Racine County Bar Association. She served as a deputy family court commissioner for Racine County. ANTON NICKOLAI is an attorney with DeLadurantey Law Office, LLC, where he is a highly respected Chapter 13 bankruptcy attorney. As the manager of the firm's Chapter 13 practice, his main focus is to help individuals and families to reach their financial goals through a Chapter 13 reorganization. Mr. Payne earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. DEBORAH A. STENCEL started her legal career as a staff attorney at the Indianapolis office of Indiana Legal Services, where she practiced consumer, family, and landlord-tenant law. She moved to Chicago in 2003 to take a job with a growing law firm specializing in consumer bankruptcy. Ms. Stencel started taking Chapter 7 and 13 cases and working with clients. Eventually, she managed the practice for Northern Indiana, with offices in Merrillville, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Elkhart, Indiana. Later, at the same firm, Ms. Stencel was asked to train and manage a number of offices across the country. She continues to work with attorneys and clients from her former firm. In 2010, Ms. Stencel moved back to Wisconsin. Fueled by a desire to spend more time with clients and less time in airports, she opened the Law Offices of Deborah A. Stencel in the summer of 2011. Ms. Stencel is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
