KATHERYN BRADLEY is a shareholder with Lane Powell PC, where she represents private and public employers in workplace disputes, and has successfully litigated and resolved claims for wrongful discharge, discrimination, and violations of leave and wage and hour laws. She has defended employers in individual and class action lawsuits in trial and appellate courts throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Washington and Alaska. In addition to her extensive employment litigation experience, Ms. Bradley devotes a substantial part of her practice to counseling managers and human resource professionals in organizations of all sizes. She advises clients on best practices to manage leave and navigate through the interactive process to accommodate disabled employees. Ms. Bradley helps employers avoid employment claims by preparing effective workplace policies and counseling them through the process of carrying out reductions in force, separations and terminations. She prepares executive employment agreements, effective covenants not to compete, and other agreements to protect trade secrets and intellectual property. Ms. Bradley works closely with business executives to enforce non-competition agreements and respond to cease and desist letters. She also provides interactive EEO training to managers. Ms. Bradley is a frequent speaker at employment law seminars. Before joining Lane Powell PC, she was a partner with the law firm of Foster Pepper PLLC. Ms. Bradley earned her B.A. degree from Scripps College, and her J.D. degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, where she was the associate editor of the Environmental Law Review. KIRSTEN G. DANIELS is an attorney with Lane Powell PC, where she focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling. She defends clients against EEOC claims, discrimination/constructive discharge, sexual harassment and hostile work environment claims, and wage and hour violations. Ms. Daniels also advises employers regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws and has drafted employment handbooks, personnel policies, and separation and release agreements. She also litigates ERISA and employee benefits issues. Ms. Daniels represents employers, employee benefit plans, insured plans, insurers and administrators in actions involving disability, life, health, and stock/compensation employee claims, claims for breach of fiduciary duty, and actions seeking civil penalties under ERISA. She provides advice to ERISA plans, employers, fiduciaries and insurers regarding disability claims, health claims, compliance with Department of Labor regulations and civil enforcement actions. Ms. Daniels earned her B.A. degree from the University of Puget Sound, and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Seattle University Law School. She is a member of the Washington State and King County (member, Labor and Employment Section) bar associations. TATYANA A. GIDIRIMSKI is an attorney with Short Cressman & Burgress PLLC, in Seattle, Washington. Her practice areas include employment law and commercial litigations. Ms. Gidirimski earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, cum laude, and her J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law. Washington Law & Politics magazine selected her as a Rising Star for 2009, 2010 and 2011. Ms. Gidirimski is an active member of the National Association of Professional Women and Seattle Art Museum Supporters. KAREN P. KRUSE is of counsel to the Seattle office of Jackson Lewis LLP, a national firm which represents management exclusively in workplace law and related litigation. She has been practicing management-side employment and labor law for the last 15 years. Ms. Kruse's practice involves the full range of workplace issues and includes both litigation and counseling. She earned her B.L.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alaska, Juneau; and her J.D. degree, with high honors, from the University of Washington, School of Law. After law school, Ms. Kruse served a one-year clerkship at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, with Honorable Eugene A. Wright, Senior Circuit Judge. She regularly speaks and writes on employment law topics. LEIGH ANN COLLINGS TIFT is an attorney in the Seattle, Washington office of Littler Mendelson, where she represents employers in a variety of state and federal employment and labor matters, including employment discrimination claims, union-management negotiations, state human rights claims, employee benefit claims, and preventative counseling and training. She also has extensive experience in matters of employment litigation and administrative proceedings such as unfair labor practice proceedings and state and local human rights hearings. Ms Tift has spoken at seminars and training presentations on subjects ranging from the interrelationship between state and federal discrimination laws, employee separation agreements, duty to hire/promote claims, effective employee discipline, implementing lawful diversity objectives, effective investigations of employee complaints and newly emerging theories of liability under anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws. She earned her bachelor's degree from Utah State University, and her J.D. degree from Seattle University. Ms. Tift is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar, and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts in Washington and Oregon, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
