JANE G. BITZ is an attorney in Spokane Valley, Washington. She earned her B.S. degree from Montana State University. After working several years in advertising and commercial production, Ms. Bitz attended Gonzaga University School of Law and earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude. She was admitted to the Washington State Bar. Since that time, Ms. Bitz has been in private practice in Spokane. Her law practice has emphasized on estate planning and elder law. Ms. Bitz has experience in working with clients including seniors and their families, in the areas of alternatives to guardianship, trust administration and probate. HISLOP is an attorney with Wolff & Hislop Attorneys. His current practice focuses on business formation, governance, and litigation; commercial transactions, leasing and development; estate planning and wealth transfer; landlord-tenant relations; creditor and debtor rights; and bankruptcy and adversary proceedings. Mr. Hislop is admitted to practice before all Washington state courts, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and Court of Appeals to the Armed forces. He is a member of the Spokane County Bar Association, Liberty Lake Centennial Rotary Club and the Washington State Bar Association. NICHOLAS R. KNAPTON is principal of his own firm and has worked for over a decade locally in Spokane in the field of public accounting. He works on very diverse projects ranging from individual, corporate and estate tax planning to financial analysis and business valuations. Valuation engagements are an important part of Mr. Knapton's practice, and he has performed services including stock option pricing, valuation of intangible assets, and ESOP valuations along with valuation of real estate securities and more traditional valuation engagements. He specializes in taxation, valuation, and attestation services. Mr. Knapton is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also is recognized as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), as designated by the AICPA. Mr. Knapton has also had the opportunity to teach managerial accounting at Gonzaga University as an adjunct professor. The concepts covered included cost segregation, overhead allocation and capital budget decision making. He attended the Running Start Program at Eastern Washington University, earned his B.A. degree from the University of Washington; his Masters in Accounting and J.D. degree's from Gonzaga University. KYLA MCKELVEY is an attorney in Liberty Lake, Washington with the Law Office of Kyla J. McKelvey. Her firm was established to provide legal services to a variety of clients in a small firm environment. Ms. McKelvey practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, and the formation of small business entities. He is a past adjunct professor at Gonzaga University School of Law and has previously lectured on Washington State real estate property taxes.
