PHILIP L. BEDNAR is an associate with the Seattle law firm of Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, PLLC, where he focuses on representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases and proceedings. Mr. Bednar also advises debtors and creditors in matters outside of bankruptcy and represents clients in commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, PLLC, he worked at an international law firm in Washington, D.C., where he focused his practice on bankruptcy law, creditors' rights and commercial litigation, and also kept an active immigration law pro bono practice. Mr. Bednar earned his B.S. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was managing editor of the Minnesota Law Review. He is admitted to the bars in Washington, the District of Columbia and Virginia. MICHAEL C. MALNATI is an attorney with the law firm of Reed Longyear Malnati & Ahrens PLLC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, real estate foreclosure, and business and commercial law. He is admitted to practice before all Washington state courts and in the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington. Mr. Malnati earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Washington State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (member, Real Property, Probate and Trust, and Debtor-Creditor sections). DANIAL D. PHARRIS is a principal with Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, PLLC, where his main areas of practice are creditors' rights, bankruptcy and reorganizations, and complex litigation. He has lectured to various professional groups on creditors' rights, bankruptcy and related law. Mr. Pharris is a member of the King County (member, Bankruptcy Section) and the Washington State (member, Creditor-Debtor, and Real Property, Trust and Probate sections) bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. degree from Western Washington University and his J.D. degree from the University of Puget Sound. JOEL WATKINS JR. is of counsel with Mikkelborg Broz Wells & Fryer, PLLC, where his practice focuses on debtor and creditor work, bankruptcy, litigation, real estate, and commercial law. He has represented debtors, unsecured creditors committees, unsecured creditors, secured creditors, landlords and bankruptcy trustees in a variety of cases under the bankruptcy code relating to manufacturing, real estate, technology, and construction. Mr. Watkins is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), Washington State Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and Federal Bar Association (Bankruptcy Section). He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Washington; his M.A. degree from University of Washington; and his J.D. degree from Willamette University.
