ROBERT I. BETTS is a member of the Bellevue law firm of Betts Austin PLLC. For more than 30 years, Mr. Betts' practice has focused on taxation, estate planning and probate law. He frequently lectures before professional and civic groups. He was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Puget Sound School of Law, where he taught federal income tax. Mr. Betts is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; a past law clerk to Justice Matthew W. Hill of the Washington State Supreme Court; and a member of the Washington State Bar Association and U.S. Tax Court. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Washington and his J.D. degree from the University of Washington Law School. BRINETTE B. ROUNDS is the founder of Oak Street Group, PLLC. Her estate planning legal practice began at Perkins Coie, LLP and Stoel Rives, LLP. Ms. Rounds founded Oak Street Law Group, PLLC to provide her clients with unsurpassed client service and practical planning. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Pacific Lutheran University, her M.B.A. from Seattle University and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law. ANDREW W. HEINZ is an attorney at Stokes Lawrence Velikanje Moore & Shore, practicing in its Yakima office. Mr. Heinz focuses his practice on the areas of estate planning and trust and estate disputes. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Real Property, Probate and Trust sections of the Washington State Bar Association. Mr. Heinz earned his B.S. degree from the University of Arizona and his J.D. degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. ELIZABETH A. STEPHAN is an associate attorney with Oak Street Group, PLLC, where her areas of practice include trust and estate administration, representation of fiduciaries and business planning for closely-held companies, formation of partnerships and corporations, as well as business sales, acquisitions and succession planning. Ms. Stephan has been named a "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (Executive Committee, Real Property, Probate & Trust section).
