JACQUELYN A. BEATTY, CPCU, ARM, is a shareholder in Karr Tuttle Campbell's litigation department. Her practice focuses almost exclusively on commercial civil litigation, including insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, construction and environmental claims, complex personal injury, and general business disputes. Before joining Karr Tuttle Campbell, Ms. Beatty served as a clerk to the Honorable James S. Holden, Federal District Court for the District of Vermont, and in the University Division of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Washington. She earned her A.B. and Sc.B. degrees from Brown University; her B.S.N. degree from Columbia University School of Nursing; and her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Washington School of Law. Ms. Beatty has received Washington Law & Politics Super Lawyer designation for many years. DONOHUE is an attorney in the Seattle law firm of Wilson Smith Cochran Dickerson, where his current practice focuses on commercial litigation, insurance extra-contractual claims and coverage, construction defect, and product liability. He also represents clients in complex litigation involving employment, personal injury and premises liability matters. Mr. Donohue is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington and Oregon. Before law school, Mr. Donohue worked for Windermere Real Estate and served with the Marine Corps in the Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. During law school, he worked in the employment and criminal law clinics, handling administrative hearings and conducting several successful criminal jury trials. Mr. Donohue earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Washington. JASON R. DONOVAN is an attorney with Foster Pepper PLLC in the firm's Seattle office. Mr. Donovan primarily represents policyholders in insurance coverage disputes involving commercial general liability, directors' and officers' liability, employment practices liability and professional services liability. In addition, he has been involved in defending major airlines against civil claims and criminal indictments stemming from high-profile aviation disasters in the United States and France. Mr. Donovan earned his B.M. degree from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. BRADLEY W. HOFF is a member in the law firm of Foster Pepper PLLC, where he is chair of the insurance coverage practice group and co-chair of the sports and sports facility industry group. His practice focuses primarily upon the representation of policyholders in insurance coverage matters, including analyzing and pursuing insurance claims, related coverage and bad faith litigation and dispute resolution, and risk management counseling. Mr. Hoff also has experience in other general commercial litigation, including construction-related litigation and complex securities litigation. Mr. Hoff has been named a 2011 Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics and previously was named a Rising Star by that same publication. During law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Dale B. Ramerman - King County Superior Court. Mr. Hoff is admitted to practice in the state of Washington and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. District Court (Western District of Washington and Eastern District of Washington). THOMAS LETHER is a partner in the firm of Cole, Lether, Wathen, Leid, & Hall, P.C. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and the University of Puget Sound Law School. He has been involved in insurance and commercial litigation since 1988. Mr. Lether's primary clients include a number of national insurance companies, several smaller insurers and independent adjusting firms. He also represents a number of contractors, property owners and business owners. His practice predominantly involves the representation of insurance companies and individuals in the investigation, adjustment and defense of complex coverage matters. This also includes litigation involving bad faith and claims for extra contractual recovery. Mr. Lether also is involved in a number of construction defect cases and has tried several to successful jury verdicts. He has been involved in hundreds of investigations of insurance claims. This includes having served as lead counsel in the Pang Warehouse Fire (the largest commercial arson loss ever tried to a jury in Washington State history) and as lead trial counsel in Manglona v. Allstate (the largest residential arson loss ever tried to a jury in Washington State). Mr. Lether's construction litigation background includes first party property claims, third party claims, additional insured litigation and claims for contribution. Mr. Lether also represents a number of insurers in the Pacific Northwest and the Pacific Rim regarding first and third party claims, including coverage disputes, adjustment concerns, and issues involving water intrusion, collapse, construction defects and environmental claims. Mr. Lether also has served as an appraiser and mediator, and he is a frequent lecturer on insurance related topics. Finally, he is a licensed U.S. Merchant Marine Officer with the rank of Captain and is qualified to serve as an expert in maritime and claims handling/coverage matters. MARTIN J. PUJOLAR is a shareholder at Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S. His practice areas include construction defect, general liability, personal injury, product liability, insurance coverage, employment, UIM, and insurer bad faith/extracontractual liability litigation. Mr. Pujolar earned his B.A. degree from the University of Puget Sound and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is a member of the Washington State, King County, and Pierce County bar associations; the State Bar of Nevada; the District of Columbia Bar; and the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers. MICHAEL R. WRENN is a partner in the Wrenn Law Group PLLC, where his practice includes representation of insureds in insurance coverage litigation and general business litigation in state and federal courts. He represents a number of local and national companies in evaluating and litigating business cases and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Wrenn's clients include companies in the truck manufacturing, chemical distribution, wood treating, automobile parts, well drilling, waste hauling and landfill industries, as well as municipalities with insurance coverage claims. He has been lead counsel in more than a dozen multimillion dollar lawsuits seeking coverage for environmental, business interruptions, and property damage claims against insurance companies. Mr. Wrenn has defended numerous class action and business tort cases. He is a frequent speaker on the subject of business litigation and insurance coverage law for various organizations, including the American Bar Association, Risk Management Insurance Society and many continuing legal education providers.
