PATRICK M. ANKUDA is an attorney with the law firm Parker & Ankuda, P.C., where his practice areas include personal injury, divorce, parental rights, real estate, and civil litigation and probate. He earned his B.A. degree from Columbia University and his J.D. degree from Syracuse University. Mr. Ankuda is a member of the American Bar Association. WILLIAM J. FISK is an attorney with the law firm of Witten, Woolmington & Campbell, P.C. He practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, family law, valuation disputes and tax aspects of commercial law. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Fisk practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for more than 25 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Family Law and Real Property Trust and Estate Law sections, the Vermont Bar Association, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Institute of CPAs and the Vermont Society of CPAs. Mr. Fisk is a past chairman of the Vermont Board of Public Accountancy and past president of the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has previously served as an adjunct instructor in accounting, finance and tax at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Western New England College and Holyoke Community College. Mr. Fisk earned his B.B.A. degree from American International College, his M.B.A. degree from Western New England College and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University. LINDSEY M. HUDDLE is in private practice in Burlington where her emphasis is in the area of family law. Her practice also includes estate planning, work in probate court and real estate. She handles divorce, parentage and civil union dissolution cases ranging from helping unrepresented clients draft and file documents and learn how to obtain the final marital settlement agreement, collaborative law cases, cases which are filed and then settlements negotiated, and contested litigation. She also works with post-judgment cases such as modification of child support, alimony, parent child contact or parental rights and responsibilities. She represents children and parents in child abuse and neglect cases in family court. In probate court, she handles guardianship, adoption, probate of wills and other matters. In recent years, Ms. Huddle has worked with a growing practice in collaborative law. Her cases have ranged from those involving complicated business and property valuation and division to those in which the property is not extensive, but involves creative division in order to provide for a future which is fair to both parties. Ms. Huddle received her B.A. degree from Randolph-Macon Women's College and her J.D. degree from Vermont Law School. Ms. Huddle is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on Rules for Family Proceedings, which drafts and modifies rules for family court. She is a member of the American (member, Family Law Section) and Vermont (member, Family Law Section) bar associations. Ms. Huddle sits as acting magistrate for child support hearings when called upon. She teaches the pro se education class at family court. Ms. Huddle also has presented continuing education seminars for other attorneys, and she serves as Guardian ad Litem for children in divorce. BENJAMIN W. KING recently re-opened The King Law Offices, PLLC, in Burlington with sole focus on family and matrimonial law at both the trial and appellate levels. Mr. King is a certified divorce mediator and utilizes both the collaborative law and mediation approach in his practice. A former deputy state's attorney in Caledonia, Essex and Orleans counties in Vermont, Mr. King prosecuted domestic violence and sexual assault cases. From 1992 to 2000, he was a partner with his wife in the firm of King and King, Attorneys at Law, in Pittsburgh, where he concentrated his practice in the areas of family and juvenile law, criminal defense and civil litigation. Mr. King earned his B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State University, his M.P.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
