LAWRENCE P. POSTOL is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He has focused his practice on labor and employment law, including the defense of worker's compensation claims, discrimination claims, OSHA citations, and ERISA litigation. Mr. Postol is the author of the article Litigating Cases Before Administrative Law Judges, ABA Litigation Journal, and co-author of the text, The Americans With Disabilities Act, A Compliance Manual For Employers, ACCA Press, among his more than 50 publications. He has been an arbitrator for the District of Columbia Superior Court since 1989. Mr. Postol is a member of The Greater Washington Board of Trade Public Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, The District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia State Bar and the Maryland Federal Court Bar. Mr. Postol has won two cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and more than 25 cases before the U.S. Courts Of Appeals. Mr. Postol earned his B.S. degree, with distinction, and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Cornell University. BENJAMIN J. TRICHILO is a principal with the Fairfax firm of Trichilo, Bancroft, McGavin, Horvath & Judkins, P.C., where his main areas of practice are civil litigation and workers' compensation, with a trial practice in state and federal courts. He was selected for The Best Lawyers in America and Outstanding Lawyers of America, was listed in Washingtonian among the top 500 lawyers (February, 1997), and is listed in Super Lawyers for the State of Virginia and Washington D.C. Mr. Trichilo is a neutral case evaluator for the Fairfax Circuit Court. He is a member of the Fairfax and Virginia bar associations, the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Northern Virginia Defense Lawyers Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Trichilo received his B.S.B.A. degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University School of Business and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. KATHLEEN G. WALSH is a sole practitioner in Occoquan, Virginia, with more than 20 years of experience. She specializes in workers' compensation, Social Security and personal injury. From 1986 through 2000, Ms. Walsh was associated with Ashcraft & Gerel concentrating her practice in worker's compensation and personal injury. In March of 2000, she opened her own firm. In addition to her practice of workers' compensation and personal injury she now also handles social security disability cases. Ms. Walsh has served in the past as an editorial editor for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Journal and on the Virginia Trial Lawyers Workers' Compensation legislative committee. In addition to her membership in the Virginia and New Jersey Bar she is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives. Ms. Walsh earned her B.A. degree from George Washington University and her J.D. degree from The Catholic University of America. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
