CHARLENE C. CAIN has twenty years of experience as a law librarian, having begun her career at the Louisiana State University Law School Library as a government documents librarian and progressing to the position of Head of Access Services. After moving to the D.C. area she worked part-time at American University's Pence Law Library before coming to the Howard University Law Library in her present full-time position of reference librarian. Ms. Cain is active in AALL, having served as chair of the Government Relations Committee and co-chair of the Annual Meeting Local Advisory Committee (New Orleans conference), and she is currently chair of AALL's Placement Committee.  She has also served on the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer and as president of the Louisiana Library Association.  Ms. Cain is a member of SEAALL, LLSDC, and VALL.

VICENC FELIU is the director the Charles N. and Hilda H.M. Mason Law Library and an assistant professor of law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Before coming to UDC, Professor Feliu was the assistant director for public services and associate librarian for foreign, comparative, and international law at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University. His primary scholarly interest is in the field of copyright law. Professor Feliu has also concentrated his scholarship on the areas of legal research, civil law, international law, and reference services. He is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Librarians and the District of Columbia Bar. Professor Feliu has written and spoken on numerous topics related to intellectual property and legal research. He earned his B.A. degree from California State University Fullerton, his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Franklin Pierce Law Center and his Master of Library and Information Science with Law Librarianship Certificate from the University of Washington.

DEBORAH MANN KEENE is associate dean and director of library and technology at George Mason University School of Law. Ms. Keene teaches on-line and print legal research to first year law students and she has lectured on Internet legal research to attorneys and paralegals for the Virginia Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Keene received her B.A. degree, with honors, from George Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, her J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and her M.L.S. degree from George Peabody College Graduate School. She has received two awards for in-house publications from the American Association of Law Libraries. Ms. Keene is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries, Special Libraries Association and Virginia Association of Law Libraries.
