SEAN A. DUNSTON is an attorney in Alexandria, Virginia. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1995), and his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (1998). Mr. Dunston has worked in the estate planning and probate fields for his entire career. He worked with Bill Babcock, one of Alexandria's preeminent estate planning attorneys from 2000 to 2008, and then decided to open his own firm continuing to focus on wills, trusts and estates. In 2009, he merged his practice with Rich, Rosenthal, Manitta, Dzubin & Kroeger, LLP, and in 2010 that firm merged with another firm and is currently named Rich, Rosenthal, Brincefield, Manitta, Dzubin & Kroeger, LLP. Mr. Dunston's practice includes the preparation and drafting of deeds, powers of attorney, advanced medical directives, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, wills, revocable (living) trusts and complex irrevocable trusts. Mr. Dunston also advises clients regarding estate and trust administration issues, lifetime wealth transfers, business formations and business succession planning. Additionally, he prepares and files gift and estate tax returns on behalf of his clients. Mr. Dunston is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, Virginia State Bar (member, Taxation, and Trusts and Estates sections), the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section) and the Alexandria Bar Association. He has presented continuing legal education seminars to Virginia attorneys on "Ethical Issues when Advising Trustees and Beneficiaries," as well as topics attorneys should consider when drafting powers of attorney and advance medical directives. JON S. GRAFT is a sole practitioner in Oakton, Virginia, where he focuses on estate planning and taxation. Mr. Graft lectures frequently on estate planning and trust accounting for the general public and various professional groups. He wrote "Is It Gone? or: The Non-Repeal of the Estate Tax," published by the Estate Planning Strategies. Mr. Graft received his Bachelor of Business Administration, his Juris Doctorate and his Master of Laws degrees from the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar (member, Taxation, and Trust and Estates sections) and is the past president of the Northern Virginia Business Alliance and G.T. Toastmasters. LAUREN A. JENKINS is an attorney in the McLean office of Holland & Knight LLP and a member of the firm's Private Wealth Services Section. Ms. Jenkins focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, and assists clients with the planning and preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, durable medical powers of attorney and living wills. She also advises fiduciaries on estate and trust administration, and represents beneficiaries of trusts and estates who desire separate counsel to ensure their interests are protected. Ms. Jenkins is the author of "Probate Administration in Virginia: An Overview for The Personal Representative," Virginia State Bar Trusts and Estates Section Newsletter, December 2008. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar (Wills, Trusts and Estates Section) and the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section). Ms. Jenkins earned her B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts and her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law.
