ANDREA J. BOYACK is a visiting associate professor of law at The George Washington University Law School. Ms. Boyack's diverse legal background includes private practice work in corporate finance, real estate development and capital markets. Last year, she was a visiting associate professor at Catholic University Columbus School of Law, where she taught property and public international law. Ms. Boyack also has been an adjunct professor at George Mason University Law School, where she taught real estate finance law. She is of counsel with Reed Smith, LLP. Ms. Boyack has an advanced degree in international law and diplomacy. She earned her B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, her J.D. degree from the University of Virginia and her M.A.L.D. degree from The Fletcher School, Tufts University. JENNIFER A. BRUST is a shareholder in the firm Bean Kinney & Korman PC, where she practices in banking, bankruptcy, creditor's rights, government contracts, and commercial and civil litigation. Ms. Brust actively litigates in the state, federal and bankruptcy courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She has lectured extensively on various civil litigation topics including creditor's rights and discovery issues. Ms. Brust is a past president of the Arlington County Bar Association (1998-1999). She is a fellow of the honors society, Litigation Counsel of America. Ms. Brust is a member of the Arlington County and Northern Virginia Bankruptcy bars, and the Walter P. Chandler American Inn of Court. She served on the Virginia State Bar Council and the Virginia State Bar's Standing Committee on Legal Ethics from 2001-2007. In the fall of 2010, Ms. Brust began co-teaching the course "Secured Finance" at George Mason University School of Law. She is a graduate of Princeton University. Ms. Brust earned her law degree from The George Mason University School of Law. She is listed in Best Lawyers of America in the specialty of Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law for 2010. RICHARD M. POLLAK is the managing partner of the Tysons Corner office of Troutman Sanders LLP, and the practice group leader for the firm's lending and structured finance practice group. Mr. Pollak also is a member of the firm's real estate finance and intellectual property practice groups. He represents financial institutions in a wide range of financing transactions, including structuring, preparing and negotiating loan documents in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities, loan workouts and restructurings, bankruptcy and creditor's rights and lending to high tech companies. Mr. Pollak's practice involves both domestic and multi-national transactions, including secured financing in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Cayman Islands and Europe. He has significant experience in work outs and restructurings, asset based lending, real estate lending, secured financings to government contractors, lending to high-tech companies, lending to high net worth individuals, and lending to purchasers of commercial paper, franchisees and health care providers. Mr. Pollak earned his B.A. degree from Colgate University and his J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland.
