FLOYD W. HOLM is a litigation attorney with the Workers' Compensation Fund of Utah, defending workers' compensation claims before the Utah Labor Commission. Previously he was an attorney with Snow, Christensen & Martineau in Salt Lake City; then he was with Chamberlain & Higbee for eight and a half years; and a sole practitioner for an additional eight and a half years. He focused on personal injury, including workers' compensation, family law and criminal defense. Mr. Holm served on the Utah Board of CLE, was president of the Southern Utah Bar, served on the Board of the Legal Center for People with Disabilities (now Disability Law Center) and the Governor's Counsel for People with Disabilities. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law. W. SCOTT LYTHGOE is a partner in the law firm of Coggins, Larreau and Lythgoe P.C. In 1997, he began to represent clients who have been denied claims for their workman's compensation benefits, ranging from claims for medical benefits to permanent total disability compensation. These clients now represent the largest area of his practice. He also represents clients in the areas of civil and criminal law. Mr. Lythgoe is an active member of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association's Workman's Compensation practice group and Social Security practice group. He also is a member of the Inns of Court. Mr. Lythgoe earned his B.A. degree from Utah State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah School of Law. PHILLIP B. SHELL is a partner in the law firm of Day Shell Liljenquist, L.C. His practice is primarily focused on the representation of injured and disabled individuals in the fields of workers' compensation and Social Security disability claims and occupational disease claims. He earned his B.S. degree from Utah State University and graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1982. Mr. Shell is admitted to practice before the Utah Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
