MATTHEW M. BOLEY is a shareholder with the law firm Parsons Kinghorn Harris. His practice concentrates in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate, commercial/civil litigation and creditors' rights. Mr. Boley is experienced in all aspects of bankruptcy law, having successfully represented chapter 11 debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors and bankruptcy trustees. He has commercial litigation experience in many substantive areas, including real estate disputes, contract disputes, lien and lien priority disputes, business torts, professional negligence, lender liability, the Uniform Commercial Code and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Boley has extensive experience in all areas of creditors' rights and debtor-creditor relations, including workouts and debt restructurings, collection litigation and foreclosures, receiverships and bankruptcy. He strives to employ creative problem solving and a pragmatic, results-oriented approach to the delivery of legal services. Mr. Boley is a past chair and an active member of the Bankruptcy Section of the Utah State Bar. He also is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Commercial Law League of America and the Utah Bankruptcy Lawyers Forum. Mr. Boley earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Westminster College and his J.D. from the University of Utah, College of Law, where he graduated with honors. He has been the recipient of several honors and recognitions. Among others, Utah Business Magazine has recognized Mr. Boley as a member of the Utah Legal Elite in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Likewise, Super Lawyers magazine recognized him as a Mountain States Rising Star in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Finally, Mr. Boley received awards for pro bono service from the Utah State Bar and Utah Legal Services. PHILIP G. JONES is the principal of the Philip G. Jones PC law firm in Orem and has served as a member of the Utah Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees since January 2004. Mr. Jones has focused his practice on bankruptcy law since 1980. He earned his B.A. degree from Idaho State University and his J.D. degree from Brigham Young University School of Law. Mr. Jones received his initial mediation training from Utah Dispute Resolution in May of 1998. He is currently an instructor in the Paralegal Studies Program at Utah Valley University at Orem, and a former instructor of Law at Brigham Young University. DAVID L. PINKSTON is a shareholder in the firm of Snow Christensen & Martineau in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Pinkston represents a broad range of clients in bankruptcy litigation matters, as well as other contract disputes and complex commercial litigation. He also represents sureties, contractors, and owners in a variety of construction-related matters, as well as bankruptcy issues. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude and University Honors, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he served as the Lead Articles Editor of the B.Y.U. Law Review. He was also a member of the American Inns of Court I. After graduation from law school, he was admitted to the Utah State Bar and joined Snow, Christensen & Martineau. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Mr. Pinkston is a member of the Utah Bankruptcy Law Forum and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the American Bar Association. He has written and presented papers on both bankruptcy and surety issues.
