F. McKAY JOHNSON is a director and member of Hill, Johnson & Schmutz, L.C. His professional practice focuses on solving the problems of taxation, protection, and estate planning advice. Mr. Johnson uses a large inventory of tools for income tax and business planning for individuals, trusts and businesses, estate and gift tax planning, probate avoidance planning, asset protection planning, formation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies, buy-sell agreements, tax-free exchanges and tax-saving asset sales, non-qualified retirement and compensation plans, as well as charitable giving techniques, including remainder trusts and private foundations. He was a co-author of Trusts You Can Trust. Mr. Johnson was an adjunct professor (Advanced Estate Planning) at J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He frequently gives lectures regarding estate, business and tax planning to professional groups including local universities and attorneys. Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and is a member of the Utah State Bar. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University, his J.D. degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and his LL.M degree from New York University. RANDY M. LISH is a sole practitioner in Provo, Utah, where he practices in the areas of trusts and estates, asset protection and probate. He is a former adjunct professor at Utah Valley State College and is a previous lecturer for National Business Institute. Mr. Lish earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Utah State Bar and the Central Utah Bar Association. MARK J. MORRISE is a shareholder with the Salt Lake City law firm of Callister Nebeker & McCullough, where his practice focuses on trusts and estates, estate and gift tax planning, planning for closely held businesses, tax-exempt organizations, and trust and estate administration. He counsels and assists high net worth clients in the use of sophisticated planning techniques, including family LLCs and limited partnerships, sales to irrevocable grantor trusts and grantor-retained annuity trusts (GRATs). A fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Morrise is a frequent presenter at estate planning seminars and has published articles on estate planning in Zions Community Magazine and the "Money" section of the Salt Lake Magazine. Mr. Morrise earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. He is a past chair of the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar and a member of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
