Mr. Weiss has lectured widely on topics related to federal criminal law, including fraud prosecutions and investigations, evidence, trial skills, and federal sentencing guidelines. From 1991 to 1999, he taught Prosecution Function, Defense Function, Advanced Evidence, and Criminal Trial Practice as an Adjunct Professor for the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. He has also served as an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy since 1988. Mr. Weiss has been recognized since 2007 by Mountain States Super Lawyers in the area of Criminal Defense: White Collar, and continues to be recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of the 2010 Utah Legal Elite in the area of Criminal Law.
