TROY J. ARAMBURU is a shareholder with the Salt Lake City office of Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough PC, a full service law firm with offices in Salt Lake City, Park City and St. George, Utah; and Naperville, Illinois. Mr. Aramburu concentrates his practice in bankruptcy and commercial litigation, including issues surrounding creditors' rights, workouts, reorganizations and liquidations. He has represented a number of creditors in large Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases around the country, and also has represented Chapter 11 debtors in Utah, Georgia and Delaware. Mr. Aramburu is a member of the Utah State Bar, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Weber State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University, where he served as article solicitor for the Brigham Young University Journal of Public Law. SHAWN FARRIS is a partner with Farris & Utley, PC, where, since 1995, he practices mainly in the area of civil litigation in both the federal courts and state courts. In the Southern Utah Bar Association, he has served as both president and as a member of the Board of Directors. He also served for seven years as a Judge Pro Tempore in the 5th District Court of Utah. His undergraduate studies commenced in Denmark and were completed at Brigham Young University, with a B.S. degree in international marketing with emphases in Danish and Spanish. His J.D. degree was awarded from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He represents a variety of corporate and individual clientele, including clients in the United States, Japan, Mexico and Germany. GEORGE B. HOFMANN is a shareholder with Parsons Kinghorn Harris, where his practice encompasses all aspects of the debtor-creditor relationship, but focuses particularly on bankruptcy law. He has represented debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, bondholders, indenture trustees, and a variety of other parties with interest in bankruptcy proceedings. His bankruptcy experience includes plan confirmation and objections to confirmation, asset sales, avoidance litigation, claims litigation, and executory contract disputes. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Hofmann has prosecuted and defended lender liability litigation. He has also represented lenders and borrowers in loan documentation from origination through workout. Mr. Hofmann is admitted to practice in Utah and the U.S. District Court, District of Utah; New York; the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Federal District Courts for the District of Massachusetts; and the Northern, Southern, and Western districts of New York. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Utah and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law (Order of the Coif), where he served on the Utah Law Review. Mr. Hofmann is listed in Best Lawyers of America in the category of bankruptcy and creditor-debtor rights law, is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been included in Utah's Legal Elite in the area of bankruptcy/workout by Utah Business magazine.
