NELSON T. ABBOTT is a partner in the Provo law firm of Abbott & Walker, P.C., where his main areas of practice are personal injury, automobile accidents and injuries, and medical malpractice. Mr. Abbott has previously lectured for National Business Institute on handling automobile injury cases and also has lectured before other groups of legal professionals on ethics and medical malpractice issues. He is an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University. Mr. Abbot is a member of the Utah State Bar, the Utah Association for Justice and The American Association for Justice. He earned his B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. degrees, cum laude, from Brigham Young University. THOMAS R. BARTON is a member of the Litigation Section at Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy in Salt Lake City. His practice is focused in the areas of civil litigation, and labor and employment law. Mr. Barton handles cases at the trial and appellate levels. He has represented clients in federal and state administrative proceedings, and employers in contractually mandated arbitrations. Mr. Barton earned his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. degree from the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the Utah State Bar, the Salt Lake County Bar, the Federal Bar Association and David K. Watkiss - Sutherland II American Inn of Court. TIM DALTON DUNN was awarded the 2004 Utah Trial Lawyer of the year. He has been nominated by his peers for the past few years as among the Utah Legal Elite. Mr. Dunn is the senior partner and trial lawyer in the law firm of Dunn & Dunn, P.C., where he handles both plaintiff and defense cases. His areas of practice include tort law, copyright law, insurance law and trial practice. Mr. Dunn has received 178 jury verdicts in civil jury trials. He has written numerous papers on tort law, insurance law and court procedure, and has drafted a significant number of Utah's insurance and tort laws. Mr. Dunn also has spoken for various business and professional groups on trial related issues. He was a member of the 2006 U.S./Latvian Trial Demonstration team. Mr. Dunn is a former director of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and has been awarded Diplomate status, ABOTA's highest rank achievable. Mr. Dunn earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Utah. He is a member of the American and Hawaii State bar associations, the District of Columbia Bar, the Utah State Bar, the Defense Research Institute, the American Defense Trial Lawyers Association and the American Insurance Attorney's Association. TODD D. WEILER is of counsel in the trial group of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where his practice centers on commercial litigation. He was selected as one of the Utah Business Magazine's "Legal Elite" (Civil Trial Category), with specialization in cases involving business law, real estate law and municipal law. Mr. Weiler has taken approximately 150 cases to trial and appeared in more than 750 hearings. He is admitted to practice in Utah and before the Supreme Court of Utah and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. Mr. Weiler earned his B.S. degree and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University, where he served as articles editor on the Brigham Young University Law Review. He also participated with Jessup International Law Moot Court team and the trial advocacy program while in law school. Mr. Weiler is a member of the Salt Lake County Bar and the American Bar Association.
