JEFFREY S. ALLEY is a member of the El Paso law firm of Windle Hood Alley Norton Brittain & Jay, LLP, where he focuses his practice in the areas of civil trial law and appellate litigation. SERGIO E. CHAVEZ is an attorney in the El Paso based law firm of Rincon Law Group, P.C. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2001. Upon graduation, Mr. Chavez joined a regional civil defense litigation firm, where he practiced a broad range of tort litigation. In 2002, he was admitted to practice in the Federal Western District of Texas. In 2005, Mr. Chavez started his own civil litigation firm, where he worked until joining Rincon Law Group, P.C. in 2009. At Rincon Law Group, P.C. he handles civil cases in the areas of construction, insurance coverage, commercial, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Chavez earned his J.D. degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, he was active in the Texas Bar Student Association and the Hispanic Law Student Association. JEFF POWNELL is an attorney in the El Paso law firm of Scherr & Legate, PLLC. His practice centers primarily on personal injury and employment law in Texas state and federal trial and appellate courts. Mr. Pownell is licensed and admitted to practice in Texas state courts, and before the Western District of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. WALKER is an attorney in the El Paso law firm of Cox Smith. He has 25 years of litigation experience handling trials, appeals, administrative matters, and helping clients resolve complex legal issues. MARISA YBARRA is an attorney at Rincon Law Group, P.C., where her primary areas of practice products liability, transportation, and railroad law. During Ms. Ybarra's undergraduate and law school years, she worked for both state and federal courts; first, as an intern with the Texas 8th Court of Appeals, and then with the Honorable Kathleen Cardone and the Honorable Philip Martinez. Prior to entering the University of Texas at El Paso, she lived in Washington D.C., where she worked for the Clinton/Gore General Committee, the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Committee, and the White House Office of Scheduling & Advance as a member of the President of the United States (POTUS) Advance Team. Subsequently, Ms. Ybarra traveled around the country working for various political campaigns ranging from local school board races to national campaigns for the presidency.
