BRUCE E. BERNSTIEN is a member of Bruce E. Bernstien and Associates, P.C., where he has a broad-based federal and state income tax practice. JAMES J.S. JOHNSON is a Texas lawyer practicing solo in Dallas, Texas, where he also practices non-profit law as a special counsel. His main areas of practice include education law, contracts, exempt property issues, debtor-creditor/bankruptcy law, and civil rights law. Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Colorado. Mr. Johnson earned his B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an independent hearing examiner certified by the Texas Education Agency, and a paternity establishment entity certified by the Texas Attorney General's office. Mr. Johnson teaches as an adjunct at three Texas colleges. He also writes and teaches political history on cruise ships. SKEEN is a partner in the firm of Blume, Faulkner, Skeen & Northam, PLLC. She has been a certified mediator for 10 years and she has attained member status in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in International Arbitration -- the world's leading professional body for promoting the settlement of disputes by arbitration, mediation and other private dispute resolution methods. Ms. Skeen is active in the local community where she performs volunteer work and teaches business law as an adjunct instructor. She earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Washington, her ABA degree from Southern Methodist University, and a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, The National Mediation Academy, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
