JANET SHAFER BOYANTON is a sole practitioner in DeSoto, where she practices in the areas of elder law, probate, wills and nursing home neglect. She has written an article, "Nursing Home Litigation," published in The Elder Law Report and has lectured to various professional groups on aging and nursing home residents' rights issues. Ms. Boyanton earned her B.A. degree from Austin College, her M.B.A. degree from Amber University and her J.D. degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She received mediation training from Settlement Consultants International Inc. Ms. Boyanton is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Texas Chapter of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (Past Board of Directors, By-laws Committee), the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and was the founding treasurer of the organization Best Southwest Bar Association.

LIZA FARROW-GILLESPIE is a partner in the law firm of Farrow-Gillespie & Heath LLP, where she focuses her practice in the areas of wealth preservation, elderlaw and probate litigation. She has more than a decade of litigation experience in Texas state and federal courts.  Ms. Farrow-Gillespie is an honors graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Texas Law Review, recipient of the Dean's Distinguished Achievement Award in constitutional law and a member of the Order of the Coif.  She is a member of NAELA, the Dallas Bar Association and the American Constitution Society.  Ms. Farrow-Gillespie is currently working on a Master of Laws in taxation at Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University.

ROBERT S. MORRIS is an attorney with Hammerle Finley Law Firm, where his main areas of practice are elder law, business and real estate litigation, appeals, probate, and guardianships and mediation. As a litigator, Mr. Morris has represented business and government in both state and federal court and is regularly involved in business and real estate litigation. As a probate lawyer, he regularly handles probate and guardianship matters. As an appellate lawyer, Mr. Morris has represented his clients in appeals and mandamus actions in the Texas Courts of Appeals at Dallas, Fort Worth, Tyler, Waco and Eastland, in the Texas Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit at New Orleans. He brings 25 years of litigation experience to help parties to a lawsuit to resolve their differences by settlement. Mr. Morris is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He earned his B.A. degree from John Hopkins University and his J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law.
