ANNA D. COLLINS FORD is a contract paralegal and the owner of ADC Litigation Support, focusing on providing paralegal and legal administrative support to sole practitioners and small law firms. She has been working in the legal profession for 18 years and has eight years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on commercial and civil litigation. Ms. Collins Ford earned her paralegal certificate from the Professional Development Institute of the University of North Texas. She is a member of the National Association for the Self-Employed and the National Association of Female Executives. ROBERT L. GREENING is the principal partner of Greening Law, P.C. in Dallas, Texas, where he specializes in plaintiff's personal injury litigation and business litigation. He is board-certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Greening is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars and is a past adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Southern Methodist University School of Law. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Greening has degrees in business administration and Spanish from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston. He is AV Rated by Martindale Hubble and was voted a "Super Lawyer" in Texas Monthly magazine in 2005 and 2006. S. LEIGH KING is primarily devoted to general civil litigation including breach of contracts cases, consumer rights, deceptive trade practices/fraud, family law and wills/estates. She also has worked as a consultant for various litigation firms in Fort Worth, Dallas and Houston. In addition to law, Ms. King has experience in the oil and gas industry, and investment banking/portfolio management. Since graduating law school, Ms. King has guest taught at Texas Christian University in the Entrepreneurial Department of the Business School and has been a guest lecturer at Texas Wesleyan University in the subjects of deceptive trade practices, due process and the role of paralegals in today's legal environment. She also has taught legal writing, legal research and business law for Tarrant County College. Currently, in addition to her practice, she is a law professor for Concordia University in the subjects of business law, employment law and health care law. She also is a law professor for Northwood University in the subjects of business law, advanced business law and international law. Ms. King earned her J.D. degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and her LL.M. degree from Southern Methodist University. CANDY RYAN is the senior litigation paralegal with The Silvera Firm, specializing in workers' compensation law and non-subscriber defense. Ms. Ryan is responsible for non-subscriber defense and subrogation claims; including case management, trial preparation, scheduling depositions and hearings, as well as attending and participating in evidentiary presentation at trial and arbitration. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego, ABA accredited paralegal studies program (1988) and has specialized in litigation for the past 15 years. Her background includes state and federal litigation, family, probate, tax, labor and employment, securities, intellectual property, bankruptcy, business and commercial litigation, corporate, real estate, insurance defense, personal injury, trucking, railroad and even a bit of admiralty. Ms. Ryan has been a member of the Dallas Area Paralegal Association since 2005 (2008-2011, chair, Litigation Section), (2009, education vice president) (2010, president elect) and will preside as president in 2011, which will be DAPA's 35th anniversary. She was also the chair of the Bid Committee which successfully bid for the NFPA convention to be held in Dallas in 2014. She is also a member of the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas Advisory Board for Paralegals.
