JOSEPH F. CENTRICH is the managing member of Clausen Phelan & Centrich, PLLC, an Austin based law firm. Mr. Centrich's practice focuses on a wide range of general corporate and transactional matters, primarily advising closely-held businesses on each step of a business's growth and progression, from the choice of entity upon formation, through taxable and non-taxable acquisitions and divestitures, to termination of the business through sale or liquidation. He also advises businesses on employment matters, business planning and corporate governance. Mr. Centrich currently sits on the board with the Texas Exes Young Alumni Committee and the Uptown Circle of Friends, benefiting the Dell Children's Hospital. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Austin Bar Association and the Austin Young Lawyers Association. Mr. Centrich earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Business Honors Program, and his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Review of Litigation. C. BROOKS SCHUELKE is a partner in the Austin law firm of Perlmutter & Schuelke, LLP. Mr. Schuelke has been an attorney for more than 14 years and his practice includes the representation of plaintiffs in legal malpractice, personal injury, and consumer and corporate litigation. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Schuelke earned his B.B.A. degree from University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law. ELLEN P. STEWART is a partner with the Austin law firm of Barnes Lipscomb & Stewart PLLC. Her legal focus is estate planning and both uncontested and contested probate and guardianship matters. Ms. Stewart has a depth of litigation experience gained from her work representing clients in commercial lawsuits. She enjoys helping her clients in estate administration, and represents executors, heirs, beneficiaries and creditors in routine estate administrations, as well as complex and contested matters. Away from the office, Ms. Stewart works pro bono with family eldercare and volunteer legal services of central Texas on cases involving estate planning, probate and guardianship. Her volunteer work also includes service on the Texas Wellness Conference Planning Committee (2006) and special projects for St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She is the local president of the Greater Austin Association of Southwestern University Alumni. Ms. Stewart earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Southwestern University and her J.D. degree from Baylor University Law School. Ms. Stewart is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Litigation, Probate and Trust sections), the Austin Bar Association (chair-elect estate planning and probate board), the Travis County Women Lawyers' Association and the Estate Planning Council of Texas.
