TIM AVANCE is an assurance partner with Vink Teague & Associates, LLP, a Dallas public accounting firm. He is a graduate of Harding University, with a broad array of experiences in auditing and business consulting. Mr. Avance has serviced clients across a variety of industries including software and technology developers, manufacturers and distributors, franchisors, construction contractors, employee benefit plans, non-profit corporations, and governmental entities. He also has the credentials necessary to perform peer reviews of other accounting firms under the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Avance has worked with companies ranging from startups to subsidiaries of Fortune 500 companies. He is a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Avance is a member of the President's Council of Harding University. G. WARD BEAUDRY is the president and corporate partner in the Dallas law firm of Winn, Beaudry & Winn. Mr. Beaudry is an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is the former chair of the Dallas Bar Association Probate and Trusts Section, and a member of the Dallas Estate Planning Council and the North Texas Estate Planning Council (founding member, Board of Governors). Mr. Beaudry also is a certified Guardian Ad Litem. Since 1969, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust law, trust and estate litigation, corporate litigation, and elder law and mediation. He is a trained arbitrator and mediator by the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Beaudry is a frequent speaker on estate planning, probate administration, elder law and legal ethics topics, and has written numerous articles on limited liability corporations, ethical implications of estate planning and guardianship, trust and estate administration. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Austin College and his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Beaudry is a life fellow of the American, Texas and Dallas bar foundations, and a member of the State Bar of Texas and the College of the State Bar of Texas. JAMES R. HALTER is an attorney with the law firm McCue-Pauley & Associates, P.C., where his areas of practice include taxation, business law, asset protection, commercial transactions, construction law, corporate law, commercial finance, debt and equity finance, financial restructuring, securitization, franchises and franchising mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, partnership law and trusts and estates. Mr. Halter also is a certified public accountant. He earned his B.S. degree from Canisius College, his M.B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. degree from Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. ALAN L. TOLMAS is president of Tolmas Consulting, LLC, and is a certified public accountant, with the accredited in business valuation and certified in financial forensics designations awarded by the AICPA. He also holds the accredited senior appraiser designation awarded by the American Society of Appraisers. He is the immediate past president of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas and is a past president of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of American Society of Appraisers. Mr. Tolmas values businesses, interests in businesses and intangible assets as well as performs forensic accounting, including asset tracing, misappropriation of assets and economic loss measurements. He provides expert witness testimony in these areas as well. Mr. Tolmas has been trained in the interdisciplinary collaborative law process and serves as a neutral allied professional. Additionally, he has provided third opinions when opinions of opposing experts were widely divergent and has been jointly retained as well as served as court appointed valuation expert in litigated matters. Mr. Tolmas earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and his Master of Science in Accounting (Taxation) from the University of North Texas. He holds a certified public accountant and real estate broker license. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Dallas Estate Planning Council, the American Society of Appraisers and the Estate Planning Council of North Texas.
