ROBERT M. BLY is a sole practitioner in Knoxville, concentrating in the areas of estate, business and asset protection planning at both the domestic and international levels. His practice serves a clientele throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Mr. Bly is a frequent lecturer for National Business Institute and other groups on estate and asset protection planning matters. He also is a frequent writer on asset protection and estate planning issues and was a contributing author to the book Generations: Planning Your Legacy, published in 1999 by the Esperti Peterson Institute. Mr. Bly has served on the adjunct faculty at Valparaiso University and Indiana University, Kokomo Campus. He earned his B.S. degree from Ball State University and his J.D. degree from The University of Tennessee College of Law. Mr. Bly is a founding member and first chairman of the Mid South Estate Planning Forum, and a member of The Offshore Institute. JERRY N. ESTES is a member of the Jerry N. Estes Law Offices, PLLC, where his main areas of practice are property law, business law, wills, trusts and estates, probate, personal injury and civil litigation. Several professional magazines have published his writings and he wrote a bi-weekly newspaper column in a daily newspaper for many years. For 17 years, Mr. Estes has lectured and taught extensively for the National College for District Attorneys, Cleveland State Community College Police Academy and numerous other groups. His numerous manuals and technical writings have been adopted by many of his peers in the legal profession. Mr. Estes is a member of the McMinn County Bar Association (vice president), the Tennessee Bar Association (member, Board of Governors 1996-1998), the American Bar Association, the National District Attorneys Association (member, Board of Directors 2002-2006 and co-chair, Victim Services Committee 2002-2004), the International Association of Prosecutors and National Lawyers Association. He earned his B.S., with honors, and J.D. degrees from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. R. LANCE PRUITT is a member of the Venable Cantey Pruitt Wealth Management Team of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Mr. Pruitt provides consultation and solutions to clients in the areas of estate planning, asset protection and business succession planning. Prior to his employment with Morgan Stanely Smith Barney, he practiced law for several years, concentrating his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, tax litigation, estate administration and corporate law. Mr. Pruitt earned his B.S. degree from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, and his LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also is an adjunct professor at Tusculum College.
