HENRY D. FINCHER is a sole practitioner in Cookeville, Tennessee, focusing on civil trial and elder law matters, including estate administration and contested probate matters. Mr. Fincher is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and is a board-certified civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a former state representative and a former judge for the City of Monterey, Tennessee. Mr. Fincher has previously lectured for National Business Institute and a variety of groups on elder law issues, and appears regularly as a legal commentator on local television and radio. Mr. Fincher is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Cookeville, Tennessee and American bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree, with highest honors, from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. MICHAEL D. VERBLE is a principal with Verble Estate Preservation, LLC. His practice is specialized in the area of legal, financial and case management assessments, estate preservation and Medicaid qualifications. He has been assisting attorneys with their clients' needs throughout Tennessee with Medicaid preservation issues as well as other situations involving their elder clients for many years. Mr. Verble is known for his Medicaid representation throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Arkansas. He represents attorney's clients with the Department of Human Services as well as in appeal and fair hearings throughout the state. Mr. Verble earned his education from MTSU in finance and gerontology. He has earned his designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA®), Certified Estate Planner (CEP), Certified Charitable Advisor (CCA), Certified Long Term Care Counselor (CLTC) as well as serving as a hospice advisor for several hospice organizations throughout the state. Mr. Verble also serves as an estate advisor on the education panel with the Alzheimer Association and Mental Health Association of Tennessee. He has written articles for numerous periodicals and produces a monthly column in two area newspapers. Mr. Verble is frequently called upon as a lecturer and keynote speaker to various national professional groups and universities relating to topics of his area of expertise. KARL D. WARDEN is a member of the law firm of Jackson, Kweller, McKinney, Warden, Lewis & Hayes, in Nashville, where he practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning, business law, business litigation and civil law. He has been practicing law for more than 25 years and has lectured for National Business Institute and other professional groups on matters related to estate planning and elder law. Mr. Warden is an appointed guardian ad litem by the Davidson County Probate Court and is admitted to practice in Tennessee, West Virginia and Georgia. He earned his B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University, his J.D. degree from West Virginia University, and his LL.M. degree from George Washington University. Mr. Warden is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association.
