JOHN E. DUNLAP is a sole practitioner in Memphis, where he is board-certified by the Tennessee Continuing Legal Education and Specialization Commission in consumer bankruptcy. His main areas of practice include bankruptcy, workers' compensation, personal injury, ERISA litigation and Social Security disabilities. Mr. Dunlap has spoken on consumer bankruptcy and workers' compensation for professional groups, including the Memphis Bar Association and a company called SCES. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Mr. Dunlap is a member of the Memphis and American bar associations, as well as the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. D. SCOTT HURLEY is the principal shareholder in The Hurley Law Firm, P.C., in Knoxville, Tennessee. His practice focuses on civil litigation, including catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, commercial and probate litigation. Mr. Hurley has been a frequent speaker on evidence, expert testimony, direct and cross examination techniques, witness preparation, jury selection, and damages in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He earned his B.A. degree from Lincoln Memorial University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law. Mr. Hurley is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and a member of the Judicial Committee. He also is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates, and is a fellow with the Litigation Council of America.
