OLEN M. BAILEY JR. is the founding member of The Bailey Law Firm, where he practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder law. He is a frequent lecturer and presenter on estate planning issues to attorneys, accountants, financial planners and to individuals in need of estate planning services. Mr. Bailey has previously lectured for National Business Institute on estate planning and elder law matters. He has written articles for, and his advice has appeared in, numerous periodicals, including the American Bar Association's Probate & Property Journal, The Commercial Appeal, the Memphis Business Journal and The Best Times (a senior newspaper). Mr. Bailey is admitted to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate & Trust Section). In 2001, he was included in the Memphis Business Journal's "Top 40 Under 40" for his community service and business development. Mr. Bailey earned his B.A. degree, with high honors, from Millsaps College and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law. He is an alumnus of the Institute for Comparative Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University, in Washington D.C., and the London School of Economics in London, England. JAMES M. HIVNER is an attorney in the Memphis law firm of Glankler Brown, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of estate planning, business, commercial law and taxation. Mr. Hivner has lectured previously for National Business Institute on limited liability companies, and estate and tax planning for qualified retirement plans and IRAs. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from the University of Alabama. Mr. Hivner is a member of the American (member, Tax Section), Tennessee and Alabama State bar associations, and the AICPA. JOYCE H. SEALAND is a partner in the Memphis law firm of Evans¦Petree PC, where she practices in estate and income tax planning, and probate. She has been practicing law for 21 years, and frequently lectures for National Business Institute and other professional groups on probate, estate planning and trust issues. Ms. Sealand earned her B.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Memphis. She is a member of the American, Tennessee and Memphis bar associations, the Association for Women Attorneys, the Estate Planning Council and the National Planned Giving Council.
