September 28 - Memphis JAY EBELHAR is an attorney at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Ebelhar concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law, with experience in a variety of judicial and/or administrative matters concerning the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA and Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act. MARSHALL is a principal in the Memphis law firm of Evans | Petree PC. He is general counsel for the Memphis City Schools and also practices in the areas of business and labor law. GARRETT has been a member of the Nashville law firm of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC, since 1992 and now serves as chairperson of the labor and employment practice area. He has extensive experience in representing employers in the middle Tennessee area and nationally in all areas of labor law and employment law. Mr. Garrett frequently lectures for employers on all aspects of employment law and traditional labor law. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers & Partners, USA and is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American bar associations. KASTRINSKY is a partner with the Tennessee law firm of King & Ballow and supervises the firm's Employment Discrimination Law Section. KERRY E. KNOX is a partner with the law firm of Castelli & Knox, LLP, where his areas of practice focus on employee rights, business litigation and appellate litigation. He has conducted trials in the general sessions, chancery and circuit courts of Tennessee on a variety of matters, including divorces, construction disputes and landlord/tenant issues. Mr. Knox also has briefed and argued cases before the Tennessee Supreme Court, Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Court of Appeals. He is the co-writer of "Flexing Union Muscle: Is it the Right Game Plan for Revenue Generating Student-Athletes in their Contest for Benefits with the NCAA?," 69 Tennessee Law Review 1051 (2002) and wrote, "Black, Blue and Red: A Review of The Redbook: A Manual on Legal Style, 4 Transaction: the Tennessee Journal of Business Law 67 (2002)." Mr. Knox graduated, magna cum laude, from Middle Tennessee State University and earned his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law. After graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ann E. Vitunac in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
