CHARLES W. CAVAGNARO JR. is a shareholder with Evans | Petree PC, where his practice includes representing employers in state and federal courts in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination claims based on race, sex, age, national origin, religion, pregnancy, disability, sexual and racial harassment, violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), claims for unpaid wages and overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state law, claims for wrongful discharge and retaliation for exercising protected employee rights, employment-related tort claims, and workers' compensation claims. He also has extensive experience in drafting employment contracts and separation/severance agreements, auditing employee handbooks, advising clients on day-to-day employee relations matters, investigating and responding to EEOC, DOL, NLRB, and OSHA charges and other government agency complaints, assisting in management's response to union organizing campaigns, representing management in grievance arbitration under collective bargaining agreements, conducting client seminars on current labor and employment law topics such as effective handling of employee relations issues, union avoidance, required sexual harassment and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance training for supervisors, and FMLA compliance. Mr. Cavagnaro earned his B.B.A. degree, cum laude, and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Memphis. ALAN G. CRONE is the co-founder and managing member of the Memphis law firm of Crone & Mason P.L.C. He now practices with Kramer + Crone, PLC, focusing his practice on executive employment law related disputes. Mr. Crone is currently co-chair of the American Bar Association's Employment Law Subcommittee of the Class Action and Derivative Suits Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is a former past president of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Memphis Bar Association. While he is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Arkansas, he has represented clients in courtrooms all over the United States. Mr. Crone has lectured to various business and legal professionals on employment law issues. He also is a member of the American and Tennessee Trial Lawyers associations. In 1995, Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist appointed him Chief Counsel of the Tennessee Department of Employment Security. Mr. Crone also served as an Assistant Shelby County attorney from 1996-2002. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Memphis State University. ROBBIN W. HUTTON is a partner with the law firm of Weintraub Stock, PC, where her main areas of employment and labor law, insurance defense, and civil and criminal litigation. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Mississippi and Nebraska. Prior to joining Weintraub Stock, PC, Ms. Hutton was an assistant attorney general for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in the Civil Section. She earned her B.P.A. degree from the University of Mississippi and her J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Ms. Hutton is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar and Nebraska State Bar Association.
