November 3 - Memphis KEVIN BASKETTE is a partner in the Memphis law firm of Thomason Hendrix Harvey Johnson & Mitchell, PLLC, where he maintains a general civil practice in medical and professional malpractice defense, products liability defense, construction litigation, and personal injury litigation. Mr. Baskette has tried many civil matters to verdict at all trial levels in Tennessee and Mississippi, representing professionals, corporations and individuals. He practices in both the federal and state courts of Tennessee and Mississippi. He has successfully briefed and argued at all levels of Tennessee's appellate courts. JEFFREY L. GRIFFIN is an attorney with the law firm of Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh, PLLC in Memphis, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of general civil litigation, general liability, landlord/tenant matters and physician credentialing. CANNON is a shareholder in the Goodlettsville law firm of Cannon & Cannon Attorneys, P.C. He earned his B.A. degree from Belmont University, his J.D. degree from the Nashville School of Law and his M.A. degree from Middle Tennessee State University. DAVID RANDOLPH SMITH has been a trial attorney for 30 years. For the past 19 years he has represented primarily individuals in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. In 2006, Mr. Smith obtained a record $7.2 million verdict in a wrongful death case in Warren County, Tennessee. He served as plaintiffs' counsel in the Tri-State Crematory class action litigation against Georgia Farm Bureau ($80 million judgment) and represented class members who also received $36 million in settlements. Mr. Smith has tried over 100 cases in state and federal courts throughout the nation. He served as a Professor of Law, teaching torts, evidence and professional responsibility at Vanderbilt University School of Law.
