November 16 - Memphis DAVID J. COCKE is a shareholder in the Memphis law firm of Evans Petree PC, where he is a member of the Litigation and Bankruptcy Section. He represents creditors, bank trustees and other unsecured creditors committees. Mr. Cocke has served as a Chapter 11 trustee and as counsel for trustees and Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession. He is a member of the American and Tennessee bar associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Tennessee Bar Foundation, the Tennessee Human Rights Commission and a member and former director of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Memphis Bar Association. Mr. Cocke has been a lecturer at the Mid-South School of Banking and lectures frequently on bankruptcy matters and secured transactions. HARKAVY is a partner with the Memphis law firm of Harkavy Shainberg Kaplan & Dunstan PLC where for more than 17 years he has practiced in general corporate law, civil litigation, and evictions and landlord tenant issues.
