H. ABRAHAM BRIETSTEIN, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in an independent private practice concentrating on psychotherapy for adults, families and children. Dr. Brietstein also does forensic evaluations for child custody cases. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee. Dr. Brietstein earned his B.A. degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, his M.A. degree in psychology from City College of New York and his Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology. He has lectured extensively on child custody and on child sexual abuse for the Tennessee Psychological Association and the Tennessee Department of Childrens Services. Dr. Brietstein is the co-author of Child Custody Evaluation Guidelines, for the Tennessee Psychological Association, 1994. He is a member of the Knoxville Area Psychological Association (past president), the Tennessee Psychological Association (member, Ethics Committee), the American Psychological Association, the American College of Forensic Examiners and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. Dr. Brietstein has been awarded the Diplomate in Forensic Psychology from the American College of Forensic Examiners. C. SCOTT TAYLOR is an attorney with Bernstein, Stair & McAdams LLP, where his main areas of practice are family law, divorce, business litigation, general civil litigation and business transactions. Mr. Taylor was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in October 2000 and joined the law firm at that time. He is a member of the Tennessee, Knoxville and American bar associations. Mr. Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law. ROBERT J. TURNER is principal with Robert J. Turner & Associates, P.C., where he practices in the areas of family law, criminal law and plaintiff's personal injury. His certifications include civil trial specialist and criminal trial specialist. Mr. Turner previously has lectured to the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers on motion practice and DUIs. He also published the case document "Dockins v. Balboa Ins. Co.: Has the Tennessee Supreme Court Misinterpreted the Legislative Intent of the Uninsured Motorist Statute?" Mem. St. L. Re. 683 (1990). Mr. Turner earned his B.S. degree from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
